Scarlett Johansson’s D&G Ad

Very Marilyn Monroe-esque, isn’t it?
Well, if Lindsay was able to recreate one of Marilyn’s hot (and naked) shoots, so can Scarlett.
But unlike Lindsay, Scarlett’s figure is already very close to Marilyn’s: hourglass, small waist, curvy hips, full bust, soft and feminine.
How do you like it?
… I don’t like it. She looks too pin up-y and sexual, which is really inappropriate for her body since she’s got such a sexy body.
I love Scarlett and her whole appearence, but I must say I don´t really like her face her. it´s propably just because of face expression but this photo doesn´t show her beauty. Her body looks gorgeous, though, as always.
D&G could have gone with a more current type of ad, this seems like a cheap shot at “sex sells”….she has such natural beauty, it’s a shame to hide it behind such heavy makeup…
i think they should have just stuck to having scarlett as herself modelling for d&g rather than a marilyn wannabe…this is a little retro for my liking.
Nobody likes this ad… but I LOVE IT! Lindsey maybe a Marilyn career-wise, but not body-wise… Scarlett is.

Forget the face! Look at that body!!! WOW! If I had to choose a body I think I would choose hers! She’s got it all, the boobs, the waist, the hips! Now THAT’S a woman!
with a face (make up and hairstyle) i barely noticed her “womanly” body. her body disapeared with that hideous costume on her head. this could of been a beautiful and classic pic.
She definitely has a body that is good for the Pin Up style.

God! I love this girl, but she says she doesn’t like people look at her as a “Sex Symbol” instead of focussing on her acting, and that she is thinking about getting uglier and stuff … And then she makes this ultra-sexual add… haha… That’s called hypocrisy, man.

and potato, im really sick of people saying “that’s a woman” and a person isnt a “woman” if she doesnt have an hourglass/pear shape. people cant help the basic shapes they are born with, so please dont imply that they dont fit the standard.

I really, really hate when people try to do ‘Monroe’ photo shoots. Nobody will ever come close to the real thing, it just comes off as tacky, unoriginal and trying too hard.
I think her face will never be close but her figure is and that is why she was chosen. The other Hollywood ’starlet’ I presume will go down this route will be Christina Hendricks. She has even fuller figure and will probably return to her natural blonde ie. play on the Monroe thing.

The closest thing to Monroe in pics was Anna Nicole. The girl was trashy but that face was amazing. Think of her guess ads!! Johanson is not a raving beauty..God she is gross but they made her look fantastic.but not like Monroe in my opinion!!
