if that were the case then anyone could be a famous hot singer. lady gaga has the best voice. or one of. shakira and britney can belt a few good tunes too. sounds like a case of the green eyed monster to me.

The music industry these days is 90% image so we have many people in the industry that are just performers (in terms of displaying sex appeal, outrageous outfits and hot bodies) rather than artists; it’s just the way things are.
Britney’s voice is okay but nothing so remarkable, hence why her music is very poppy. Lady Gaga’s conspicious outfits distract me from her voice so i have no idea how good it is but it’s apparent that she’s more renowned for her staging than she is for her voice. She was very talented behind the scenes before she became a pop star though.
Shakira I think has a good voice but she’s becoming more image based.
Truth is that with right looks and image anyone actually can be a famous hot singer; and they are. Look at Rihanna, Girls Aloud, Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Spice Girls… I could go on!
well gaga and brit have not the best voice but shakira CAN sing.Her voice is really nice and powerful.
