Eden
Evan.
Eden Riegel
Neither. But I like Rachel’s style.
Body: Eden. But I am loving Evan’s milky skin and red hair(don’t get me wrong, Eden has lovely skin and hair too, but Evan’s just pops more
)
easily eden
Evan
I don’t know any of these woman, but the one on the left, Evan, looks stunning. Very elegant and charming. She is not a clear ruler, she doesn’t look more of a ruler to me than your typical model. And she seems to have some curves defined. Eden on the other hand looks a bit top heavy for an hourglass…
Evan for me, I prefer the more slim hipped look. Eden still has a lovely figure though.
I agree. I’m a fan of smaller frames like Evan. Plus her pale skin and red hair look fab.
They both look stunning in their own ways, can’t decide! Both lovely figure-wise, and generally beautiful. Gotta point out how well Evan’s skin tone, hair colour and dress go together though, so I might vote for her even though I think I like both figures equally.
Evan is STUNNING.
i prefer both because they’re both beautiful women.
eden. but there both lovely.
EDEN. The other looks sickly.
They both gorgeous. I don’ think the first one has a ruler body, she’s just petite.
Evan!
Rachel is not skinny at all! However I like both bodies! They are gorgeous.
Evan
Evan is so classic looking, but the tattoo distracts. Eden has a beautiful neckline, but her legs are so average and squatty looking. She needs to be stretched from the ankle to the knee… photoshop anyone?
Evan.
I’m sorry to say it for those who were fooled by the black dresse but whoever she is, she’s….fat. and not in a good way :s
Um, no, Eden is not fat.
I’d hate to see what you consider slim if Eden is fat!
Wow, if Eden is fat…you must think anemic is the perfect weight. I think she looks amazing. The other girl has prettier hair, but Eden has more womanly curves. The other girl’s figure is just sort of | | instead of an hourglass.
Both Eden and Evan are beautiful women…inside and out…with a good head on their shoulders. There is no contest because both women are beautiful in their own right. I cannot believe there is a site to hold up women’s body types up for some sort of competition which of course, will lead to these two great actresses being picked apart. Gee, I wonder why even women like Sienna Miller would have body issues…huh? So f-it…I am not playing this game…as a woman who has gained more than I wanted to and lost more than I wanted to at different times in my life…and thanking god there were no images to be posted online for me to be picked apart by a nameless-faceless internet gang. Sure these women are celebs…but they are people too…and this kind of crap puts out a bad message to the young women of the world.
I am sorry, Maureen, but you’ve got the idea of our site completely wrong. We are actually trying to prove the fact that beauty is relative and no matter how a woman looks (skinny, curvy, athletic, etc.), there will be many people who will think that she is beautiful. On this site, we feature women of all shapes and sizes, not just your typical skinny Hollywood celebs, we relate to these women, we get inspired, we believe that they are ALL beautiful.
There is nothing wrong with expressing your preference when it comes to women – if anything, I think that it helps people see that tastes differ and there’s no need to panic if we don’t fit into the standard “beauty ideal”.
Maureen does not have the idea of your site all wrong, she’s actually nailed it right on the head! Your “defense” that this site is to show that beauty is realative no matter what, falls short with me, from the moment you pit two people against each other. The moment the choice is part of a competition, it loses merit about this site being about celecrating beauty. We all konw that beauty is relative and what appeals to one, may not appeal to another and we can all say that, but in a forum like this it just feeds the horrible ideal that women need to compete w/ each other to see who is more appealing. For crying out loud the name of your site is skinny VS. curvy! The very title suggests a battle to be won. Poor young women out there see this crap and feel like they then need to measure themselves to a standard which is unattainable and then develop serious body conciousness issues. One may like Eden, but see more people “choosing” Evan becasue the two are pitted against each other by this site, and then may feel the need to measure herself by Evan standard and then develop an issue about the way she looks. It’s horrible and degrading and demeaning. Both women are amazing and beautiful and to stacked up agianst each other is crass! There is no defense for this site, but we do have freedom of speech, so you can continue to do this in the name of “celebrating the beauty of women”
I’m sorry you feel this way, Alana. But:
1. Our site is, besides a place with celebs of all shapes and sizes, an ENTERTAINMENT site, it’s supposed to be a little fun.
2. It’s actually one of the nice celebrity sites out there!
3. The name of the site is CATCHY. VS doesn’t necessarily stand for “competition”, it is also used in comparisons.
4. We’ve had a LOT of people who write us and say the exact opposite of what you are saying, we’ve had visitors feeling grateful that this is a pro-healthy site, people that feel that it’s refreshing to see that some prefer other types than the “beauty ideal” which is portrayed in the media today. Most of our visitors understand our “pro diversity” message and I am sorry that you don’t.
5. You take our “competitions” too literally – I mean, we pick 2 beautiful women (we say that they are both beautiful, we talk about their qualities) and we simply ask what people prefer, like in a poll. I don’t think we’ve ever had a side-by-side comparison with a clear “winner”, really, people love ALL TYPES OF WOMEN.
Once again, this is also an entertainment site – it’s supposed to be fun and lighthearted at times.
Agreed. I just hate that gossip sites where every single woman is criticised for a small extra pound or smthg… But this is different. And I love it. I actually discovered there are so many different tastes and different shapes… I’ve changed some of my perceptions and started being a bit less critical with myself… Kudos to Versus and all this amazing job she’s doing here!
Those of you that over analyze….. get a grip……. this site gives you the chance to see different women, many that we have seen or we know, and you can comment about them, pro or con.
There have been some spirited discussions here and it is all healthy conversation.I know that some people have even learned about nutrition here.
Not everything has to be politically correct, so learn how to have an opinion. This site gives you the chance to ” think” for yourself, and express it.
You sound like a feminist. If this site is demeaning to you, then oh wow, what do you think of the sites that show only over-sexualized celebs and that talk about “jerking off” at their sight?
Come on, this site is truly “gossip without the guilt”. I am a woman and thes comparisons are fun and harmless! I am actually pleasantly surprised to see that sooo many people like girls that look like me (I am amazed, actually and I never knew it before)
There are so many sites out there who feature only skinny girls, plastic girls, super sexy girls and this site is really trying something else, it’s more real. The competitions you talk about are just like a a survey, I don’t see what is wrong with that.
To anyone who thinks that this website is demeaning to women:
I am a feminist. I believe in equality for ALL. I believe that everyone has a right to their own opinion, no matter how outrageous it may be. There are women around the world who are currently fighting for their freedom of speech and freedom of thought, so to take anger at this website is a little unwarranted. This website is for entertainment purposes ONLY and you should not let other people’s opinions regarding celebrities influence how you feel about yourself. People are just stating a preference for a certain look and it should be treated as such.
I really enjoy this website because I like to look at beautiful women and I don’t think their is anything wrong with that. Have we had some “spirited” conversations? Yes, but that’s what discussion is and I highly welcome it.
BTW, I think both ladies look lovely, however, I would probably choose Evan.
I totally disagree! This site is a breath of fresh air compared to many others (which I won’t name). Whether a woman featured is tall, short, skinny, curvy, voluptous, athletic, whatever, the person writing the article is always complimentary and points out the GOOD points of the woman. There “who do you prefer” things are not competitions they are just to open general discussion and the results DO show that people see beauty or “perfection” in all shapes and sizes. If you dont like the site, dont visit.
Thank you, Tyu, Elena and Holly!
I’m grateful for visitors like you!
Whole-heartedly agree with you holly, especially this:
“Whether a woman featured is tall, short, skinny, curvy, voluptous, athletic, whatever, the person writing the article is always complimentary and points out the GOOD points of the woman.”
If there is any type of unsavory competition or degradation going on here, it isn’t coming from the author of this site, it is coming from US, the USERS of the site. Versus does an excellent job of presenting these women, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen her say anything bad about the women she’s featured. She may comment on how their lifestyle may not be the best in the world, but she is in no way promoting an underhanded competition between us gals, we are doing that all on our own.
Thank you too, Instant!
i think you are right, a platform like this COULD imply bad body images, if all posters and the site host would be bashing on women, who are not matching the hollywood ideal. but indeed, they are not – actually most posters do point out what they find beautiful in the women being put up – and it’s very often not the classic ideal. so any girl, woman or feminist coming across this site and actually READING thru some of the post would come to the conclusion, that variety is there, even among celebrities, and that it’s a GOOD thing.
I agree indeed, that it is a very superficial thing to judge women by their shape and dresses on here, but people ARE superficial and maybe a site like this is doing more to change some peoples minds than the aggressive contra-talk of inner values etc pp. that would make those people only obdurate.
I’m inclined to prefer Eden’s figure. But I just love Evan and she looks amazing here.
Def Eden Riegel. No more to be said!
Eden looks great. A great example of a slim hourglass.
