Cindy Crawford Brings the Quote of the Day | hollywood moms

When you don’t have anything interesting to do, you start thinking too much about what you don’t have anymore. When you can appreciate fulfilling things like family, work, friends or the possibility of helping other people, you will have a focus. The list could go on.

But to be standing in front of a mirror and to moan, ‘Oh my God, I’ve just found another wrinkle!’ That’s embarrassing. I don’t have time for that.

… says Cindy (44).

Do you guys agree with her statement?

“There’s a doctor… in London who I’ve gone to for Botox,” Cindy, 43, admits. “I did a whole skin-care line with him. But I haven’t done collagen, I don’t think.” And Cindy says a little nip or tuck is only natural for someone of her stature. “Because people have such expectations of what they are going to find when they see me, that brings added pressure to fight the aging process,” she says. “But don’t get me wrong. I think I’m holding together pretty good!”

Cindy Crawford: “I Look Too Healthy”… to Be a Supermodel in 2009

Cindy Crawford: I Look Too Healthy... to Be a Supermodel in 2009 | celebrity weight measurements

Here’s what Yahoo News says:

US former supermodel Cindy Crawford says she would have little chance of making it big in the fashion business today with her curvy figure, a German celebrity magazine reported Tuesday.

“I would not have become a supermodel in 2009. I look too healthy,” Crawford told Bunte.

“A body like mine with big breasts, normal thighs and toned upper arms” is no longer what the industry is looking for, she said.

Crawford, 43, said she was happy with her physique but worried about the effects of ageing like wrinkles and bulges.

“That’s why I like being in my 40s so much — being at peace with yourself, knowing about your strengths beyond being pretty,” she said.

Crawford, known for her trademark beauty spot above her upper lip, briefly studied chemical engineering before becoming one of the world’s most popular cover girls in the 1980s and 1990s.

If you’re wondering, Cindy’s stats are reported to be:

Height: 5′9” / 175 cm

Weight: 130 lbs / 59 kg (probably a bit more these days)

Cindy Crawford on Cellulite and Aging

Cindy Crawford on Cellulite and Aging | celebrity cellulite

Supermodel Cindy Crawford is on the cover of Redbook Magazine… and inside it, she talks about some body and beauty issues:

On cellulite: “I have cellulite,” she says, laughing. “I admit it. But sometimes I just say, ‘Screw it, I am going to wear a bikini.’”

On aging: “I think I look good for my age. I am not 25; I am 43. That feels like a big pressure, especially when the National Enquirer is dying to get a picture. I am so aware that I don’t want to change the way I live because of that kind of attention. So you say, ‘Screw it. I am wearing a bikini, and I am not putting on a cover-up.’ You just brace yourself for a bad picture.”
