Skinny VS Curvy

Celebrities on the Scale

Megan Fox + Ripped Jeans Look

Megan Fox + Ripped Jeans Look | megan-fox

It could be a wide range of unrelated factors, but what I see is that Megan did gain at least half of those 10 pounds the director told her to, in order to look sexy on screen. In case you missed the story, click here!

A slightly rounder face and some extra inches on the thighs while maintaining your slim appearance and tadaa!, you’ve got a healthy and hot package!

Amanda Bynes - Front and Back

Amanda Bynes - Front and Back | front-and-back

Here is Amanda Bynes jogging (or walking?) for exercise. I might be wrong, but I say that Amanda has looked skinnier in the past - even though in her case, the little weight gain (if any) and the tiny love handles are not doing any harm, since she’s glowing of health.

Megan Fox Says She Had Stopped Eating for Movie Role

Megan Fox Says She Had Stopped Eating for Movie Role | front-and-back

Megan Fox just said that she had to gain 10 lbs for her role in Transformers sequel, as advised by the director, who, apparently, doesn’t like skinny girls and who also thought that Megan’s previous curves looked great on the big screen. I

In fact, Megan lost the same 10 lbs for her role in Jennifer’s Body - and if you are wondering “How did she lose the 10 lbs in the first place?”, then you’ll be surprised to find out that she didn’t reply with the same old super healthy diet, high in protein, with fibers and low fat that celebrities always use as a model when asked about their miraculous diets (and somewhere along the way, we stopped believing them) - instead, she frankly declared that she had stopped eating.

Well, honestly is appreciated, even though it would have been nice to hear something like: “Yes, I stopped eating. But it’s unhealthy and you shouldn’t try it.” Instead, she gave these explanations for her weight loss and 10 lbs weight gain:

I just stopped eating. I don’t eat very healthy anyway — I have a serious sugar tooth, so now I eat red-velvet cake before I go to bed every night, and if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.”

Jessica Alba’s New Mommy Body

Jessica Albas New Mommy Body | hollywood-moms

I’m not even surprised that Jessica opted for a long and loose dress - after all, Ashlee is hiding her baby bump pretty efficiently under these types of dresses (who also happen to be “in”, luckily for the pregnant ladies and new moms).

Besides the slightly thicker arms and the fuller cleavage, plus some extra inches on the butt, we can’t identify extra weight gain - even though I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing skinny arms and a fit butt on Jessica really soon.

What do you have to say?

The Story Repeats Itself: Janet Jackson Gained Weight, Yet Again

The Story Repeats Itself: Janet Jackson Gained Weight, Yet Again | general

What’s the repetitive story, you ask? You know, the one that begins with Janet being a chubby teen, then metamorphosing into a hard rock bodied woman, then ballooning up, losing it again (for a new album and tour), then going back to the flabby territory and back again to the fab and fit zone, followed by yet another weight gain. Something that Oprah, Mariah Carey or Jessica Simpson have been doing on their own, as well - but it’s hard to beat yo-yo dieter Janet, though!

The Story Repeats Itself: Janet Jackson Gained Weight, Yet Again | general

In her recent appearances, Janet has been using all the tricks in the book to maintain the “slimmed down” status for as much as possible: tight corsets or elastic belts, black outfits and smart fabrics and cuts. She is still using the “tighten the waist as much as possible” trick even on this occasion, yet her weight gain became pretty visible in her arms, breasts, shoulders and face.

Then and Now: Rachel Hunter

Then and Now: Rachel Hunter | hot-models

Even the hottest models that made it on Sport Illustrated covers (multiple times), appeared in Playboy and have worked most of their lives in their bikini or sexy lingerie, posing in sexy photoshoots - even they can start looking less like long legged, ideally shaped, skinny women. Case and point (no, I’m not gonna say Tyra Banks): Rachel Hunter, who besides being a famous model, is an actress and Rod Stewart’s ex wife.

Rachel’s weight didn’t exactly pop up over night. One year ago, Rachel was contacted by Slim-Fast, in order to become their spokesperson - and no, she didn’t look as (or bigger than) in the picture on the right, since she was 5′10″ and 147 lbs. “Only” 147 (compared to average women) but “a whooping” 147 (compared to average models).

As for her recent weight gain, Rachel says that it’s muscle and not fat. How so? Apparently, it is all “thanks” to the new circus acts she’s been performing for a celebrity circus show (is there a show they haven’t invented yet?)
