Skinny VS Curvy

Hilary Duff went with her boyfriend to the beach… in Bahamas. Sounds great for them, but also for us, because beach equals bikini and yes, we get to see Hilary in a bikini. Or sorta.

And I’m pretty excited about it, considering that Hilary’s healthy, real, body comes after a long row of skinny supermodels with pretty unattainable figures, fact which might have depressed us just a little. And while Alessandra, Miranda and Marisa might look great in a bikini, so does Hilary (and her more attainable, thin figure)!

Raven-Symone has dealt with body criticism in the past, especially coming from certain blogs – and all this time, she was proud of her “thick and fabulous” body (as she calls it). Here’s what she had to say:

“People come up to me and have certain words for me, but you know what I do? I say, ‘I’m healthy, I exercise, I believe in myself, and I think I’m beautiful,’ ” she says. “You just have to learn how to transform the pressures into something that doesn’t soak into you on a personal level. You see it, you breathe past it, you don’t let it sink into your self-esteem.”

Sounds like a healthy attitude!

Oh how I wished that Kelly’s comeback would be in a bikini, on the beach – but reality check, she’s on the street and she’s covered from head to toe, so there goes my accurate update on Kelly’s figure!

So I guess she’s not naturally THAT ultra-skinny after all (as she said in an interview after being bombed with “scary skinny” comments)… Click here to see the former very thin Shenae! Now, we’re looking at a much better, healthier Shenae  – and may I say, the little weight gain also does good to her face!

Hmm… both Shenae and Jessica Stroup lost weight before the show started then maintained their pin thin figures for a couple of months… and then came back to their previous selves (or almost). Coincidence, strategy, stress over the new show, what was it?
