Skinny VS Curvy

What do we have here? On the left, we’ve got Hilary Duff, representing the healthier-looking bodies and on the right, we’ve got Keira Knightley who stands for the tiny figures. What do they have in common? Well, clearly, not their body shape, nor their body size. What they have in common is a pair of high-waisted jeans (which they both decided that worked best if paired with plain black tops).

Did you miss Kate Bekinsale? If you did, then here she is, looking as stylish as ever. And as skinny as ever, might I add.

Now we know that if you are stylish and, on top of that, you are also skinny, then you must, MUST grab a (large) Starbucks delight, causing us headaches and making us question over and over again: “what is she drinking? she is so skinny!”, following the Mary-Kate and Nicole Richie-style. But judging by the size of Kate’s thighs, we can only assume that she’s got low-fat, no sugar coffee in that cup.

Just to clarify: no, Rachel Bilson is not fat, she is not chubby, she should not lose weight. Yes, she looks fab, fit and fine. But facts are that even the slim ones (especially if they are pretty short) can choose less flaterring outfits.

OK, now that we settled this, I say that Rachel Bilson looks better in skinny jeans than she looks in the jeans above. Or a skirt and heels could be a better choice, as well. They say that girls who have even a tiny bit of sadlebags should throw the skinny jeans as far as possible, but I say Rachel should throw the pants above – well, take a look here and tell me if I am wrong.

What do these Hollywood girls have in common? Well, besides an ex, they both decided to wear jeans and black tops and took their boyfriends (or not, in Mandy’s case) out for a walk. Now Mandy looks like she’s been losing some weight and well, Nicole is always losing weight, so there, another thing they’ve got in common.

You decide! Who looks better? Who looks more appealing in jeans and flat shoes? The short and skinny Nicole or the taller and curvier Mandy? Skinny versus curvy battle time!

What do these Hollywood moms have in common? Well, besides being married Hollywood moms, they are about the same age, as in 34 and 35. And to make the comparison easier, they are both wearing jeans matched with boots in the above candid.

Since this is a serious competition, there’s some criteria to consider:

1. Body shape and body size.

2. Who rocks the jeans best?

3. “OMG, I can’t believe she ever gave birth!”

So, let’s hear your verdict! Who is hotter? Kate Beckinsale or Gwyneth Paltrow?

Here is Kim Kardashian, who recently said that she is using a certain cellulite treatment for her butt (some might say “finally!” and some might say “oh, noooo”); but no, not because of (jealous?) Paris Hilton’s remark that Kim’s butt looks like “cottage cheese”.

Regardless, take a look at the profile view of her (Insert multiple choice: 1. too good to be true; 2. too big to be real; 3. too gross to be fake) butt. Yes, Kim, these pants DO make your butt look big. ANYTHING that you could possibly wear would make your butt look big – or was that the initial intention?

How do you like Kim Kardashian’s assets? Is she too voluptuous for your taste or just right?

Elisa Cuthbert was the “Girl Next Door” and she still is, only like 15 lbs heavier. Which is no big problem, considering that she still looks fit’n drunk, I mean hot. The jeans look right’n tight, there’s some relevant cleavage going on and yes, the hair is all fixed up and tidy, as it was meant to be.

Lauren Conrad claims to be a size 2. Hmm…

Other celebrities have claimed in the past they were a size 2 and we sorta didn’t believe them.  She’s definitely a size 2 in empire waist dresses made of flowy and elastic canvas, but I have a little trouble believing that she wears size 2 pants.

What do you guys think? Does Lauren look close to a size 2?

Here is Fergie walking on the street in what appears to be year 1997, judging by the discoloured jeans, which, by the way, are not doing a great job at defining and contouring Fergie’s sculpted legs. What do you say? Are these clothes flattering on Fergie?

Versus’s expert advice: Big, irregular and contrasting patterns are a quite hard to wear, especially when talking about pants, regardless if you’ve got Twiggy’s or Beyonce’s legs. I vote “pro” the nude platform shoes that extend Fergie’s 5′2 frame and “against” the figure-cutting, magnet-like, phosphorescent belt.
