Skinny VS Curvy

What’s the explanation? Well, the explanation is called “wide hips”. And since hips are only visible in all their curvy glory when seen from the front or from the back, Jennifer is looking much shapelier when she’s facing the camera.

And as a true pear shape, it looks like Jennifer has lost lots of weight from all around (unfortunately, including from her boobs), yet managed to maintain her womanly bottom half.

How do you like it?

Looking at this picture I can’t help but admire the fact that Rihanna, a true pear shape, is totally pulling off skinny jeans (considering that experts usually place skinny jeans on top of the “What Bottom Heavy Girls Showed Never Wear” list).

Well, Rihanna showed them all and went for skin-tight grey jeans and silver heels, plus a cute little sweater - oh, and lots of attitude to go with the outfit!

Look at that: two girls decided to wear all-black outfits, with pretty much the same shoes, minidresses and black stockings. The only difference is that one girl is skinny and the other one’s curvy - perfect for our little battle!

It’s another one of those: Skinny Scale! You’ll have to agree, Keira is one of our best candidates in the skinny, tiny, pin thin section, with her insanely small shoulders, skinny arms and minuscule waist.

Too many skinny celebrities have been analyzed on this site lately, so let’s make room for one celeb that comes from the other side. The curvy side, that is.

Here is pear shaped Lily Allen rocking her pear shape body, booty and curvy hips in some jeans and high heels. There were some nipple slips in the same batch, but oh well, we’re trying to be decent here.

Besides “She needs a bra”, what else do you have to say on this one?

Here are Lily and Blake accompanied by their dogs - I would have made a “Skinny Versus Curvy Battle” out of this one, but I sort of estimated the results, especially since I wouldn’t place Blake in a skinny category anymore (please avoid jumping to the conclusion that what I just said is a bad thing, thank you), but rather in a slim & lean one.

Now about Lily… she sure loves those bubble dresses, almost as much as she loves the puffy, wide dresses that she was wearing when she first started out - and even though they’re not precisely the must-wear for the pear shaped ones, she is looking relaxed (as always) and “Does my butt look too big?”-worry-free, fact which I can only applaud.
