Scarlett Johansson: “I Could Never Lose 14 Pounds”

September 30, 2009 in Scarlett Johansson by Versus

Scarlett Johansson I Could Never Lose 14 Pounds

Since we saw Scarlett yesterday and some of you were saying that she has gained some weight (back), this quote of her from Glamour Magazine is quite interesting – Here’s the whole body-related part:

Scarlett Johansson is over endless speculation about her weight.

“There was this rumor mill cranking out stories that I had lost 14 pounds — I could never lose 14 pounds,” the actress, 25, tells the November issue of Glamour. “I hate seeing these ridiculous articles where [tabloids] guess someone’s weight.

“I can’t look at somebody who is 6 feet tall and 120 pounds and say, I’m going to get that body. That’s just never going to happen,” she admits.

Johansson — who slimmed down to wear a lycra catsuit as the Black Widow in the Iron Man 2 sequel (out next spring) — has accepted her body, she says.

“You have to work with what you’ve got,” she says. But despite coming to terms with her figure, working the red carpet still makes her freak out. I have a tumultuous relationship with it because I love to get ready for the red carpet, but being on it is very uncomfortable. It’s so freakish and weird,” Johansson says. “I get flop sweats, dry mouth, heart palpitations, allover panic!”

Renee Zellweger Won’t Gain Weight for Bridget Jones 3

September 25, 2009 in General by Versus

Renee Zellweger

… and instead, she wants a fat suit. Here are the details from NY Daily News:

Renee Zellweger famously packed on the pounds to play “Bridget Jones,” but she’ll be faking the fat for the third installment of the popular film franchise, according to a report.

“Renee will be wearing a fat suit in the third film, as it took her a while to lose the weight last time,” a source revealed to British magazine Reveal. “She’s also thinking about the effect quickly putting on and then losing 30 pounds has on her body.”

While some fans and bloggers are worried Zellweger’s portrayal of “Bridget Jones” will be less authentic the third go-round if she dons a fat suit, the actress has voiced concern over gaining weight for the famous role in the past.

“My body is whacked by the time we finish one of those ['Bridget Jones' movies],” Zellweger told the Daily Mail in December 2007.

She went on to tell the Mail how the 2004 fast-food documentary “Supersize Me” scared her.

“I had a panic attack with all the specialists talking about how bad this is for you, long term, putting on that much weight in short periods of time and they’re all saying, ‘You must stop this now or you’re going to die.

Angelia Jolie “Is Getting Close to 100 Pounds”

Angelia Jolie Is Getting Close to 100 Pounds | angelina jolie

National Enquirer has this little article on Angelina’s shrinking figure:

Angelina Jolie’s weight has plunged dramatically – and worried friends blame the shocking weight loss on her unraveling relationship with Brad Pitt.

The 5-foot-7 actress is so stressed out that she’s eating very little, and now her weight is getting close to a pin-thin 100 pounds, according to an insider.

“Angelina is so skinny that you can see the bones. She needs to get help before she wastes away,” confided the insider.

The ENQUIRER first revealed the growing concern over Angelina’s weight in February when she plummeted to 110 pounds. Since then, she’s lost even more weight, said the insider.

The 34-year-old star’s emaciated-looking frame shocked bystanders when she visited a border camp of Somali refugees in Kenya on Sept. 12 in her role as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations.

“Angelina was speaking to refugees who fight starvation every day, yet she looked as thin as many of them,” said the insider. “She was doing an amazing job, as usual, but her friends have noticed sadness in her recently as she struggles to keep her relationship with Brad together. She hardly eats anything.”

“It seems as if they fight all the time. Brad has walked out a number of times, and they were even sleeping in separate beds for a while. It’s like the more Brad pulls away from her, the more weight she loses.”

Kim and Khloe Kardashian Keep Talking about Their Weight Loss (And Kim Is 114 Pounds)

September 10, 2009 in Celebrity Weight & Measurements, Kim Kardashian by Versus

Kim and Khloe Kardashian Keep Talking about Their Weight Loss (And Kim Is 114 Pounds) | celebrity weight measurements Life&Style Magazine has all the details:

Losing weight can be a battle, but Kardashian sisters Khloé, 25, and Kim, 28, tell Life & Style they’ve finally achieved their weight-loss goals and gotten their best body in years. “I’d try the Atkins diet, the cabbage-soup diet — every ridiculous diet ever,” Kim says about her habit of gaining, then losing a few pounds. Here’s how the stunning siblings feel now that they’ve uncovered their diet secret and are looking better than ever.

L&S: Was losing those final pounds the most difficult part?

Khloé: It’s always been hard to lose weight in general, and I’m still losing weight, but right now, I feel like I’ve lost all my fat and just want to tone up. It’s really because of QuickTrim [a system of supplements customized for various fitness goals]. I’ve had weight battles my entire teenage and adult life, but this time when I tried losing it, the weight just fell off. It was easy.

Kim: I trained so hard for my fitness DVDs, Fit in Your Jeans by Friday, and I just needed an extra push. QuickTrim completely took it to this level.

L&S: How much weight have you lost?

Khloé: I’ve lost about 25 pounds, and I know that only because my best friend, who trains me from time to time, weighed me and told me. I was about a size 10; now I’m a 6. It’s weird, though: In denim, I’m the same size. It’s just my body shape.

Kim: I’d say I’ve lost a solid 10 pounds in a little more than a year. For me, because my body is so small, that’s a big difference. I’m so much more toned.

L&S: How do you feel?

Kim: I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life. I used to be so shy and insecure walking out in a bikini doing shoots and things — it just really feels good to finally feel like I did it. I’m the skinniest I’ve ever been. I stepped on the scale, and it said I was 114 pounds. I always weighed 120, 125 — I was shocked.

L&S: What’s the biggest change you’ve seen in your sister?

Khloé: Her stomach, for sure. She’s always been very skinny, but her stomach used to be kind of pudgy — we called it a baby bump. Her stomach is ridiculous now!

Kim: Her arms are so much skinnier, and her stomach is flat. I saw a healthy transformation, and it just feels good to see your sister confident and sexy. She’s a different person!

OK then, you’ve got the info – Khloe is a size 6 (and 5′10”), Kim is 114 pounds (and 5′2” or 157 cm and 51 kg) and they’re both very proud and very… photoshopped on the cover. Now let’s talk!
