Skinny VS Curvy

Just to clarify: no, Rachel Bilson is not fat, she is not chubby, she should not lose weight. Yes, she looks fab, fit and fine. But facts are that even the slim ones (especially if they are pretty short) can choose less flaterring outfits.

OK, now that we settled this, I say that Rachel Bilson looks better in skinny jeans than she looks in the jeans above. Or a skirt and heels could be a better choice, as well. They say that girls who have even a tiny bit of sadlebags should throw the skinny jeans as far as possible, but I say Rachel should throw the pants above - well, take a look here and tell me if I am wrong.

These two girls couldn’t be more different: one is tall, the other is short, one is brunette, the other is blonde. And if you are stuck on the height difference in the picture, it’s only because Liv is 5′10” and Kylie is 5′0”. While body-wise they both look desirable, Liv appears to have bonier and more muscular legs than Kylie, who is sporting a softer look.

In case some of you are stuck on Liv’s tiny belly bulge, the explanation is that while she’s got pretty slim arms and legs, she tends to keep her weight more in the middle area (and my guess is that if she gained a lot of weight, she would qualify as an apple shape). And yes, I just randomly found pictures of both of them with their hands in the air, wearing middle-length black dresses.

So, let’s debate! Who is hotter? Liv Tyler or Kylie Minogue?

Here is the blonde sweetheart Jessica Simpson in two pretty different outfits - What makes the outfits different? Firstly, one is long and one is short, one is girly and the other one is cowgirly. The only things that the the above looks have in common are, besides having Jessica inside them, the bag and the platform shoes.

Now while the first short dress is emphasising Jess’s legs and cleavage, the right one covers Jess’s body, without revealing anything, not even the top of the head. So, which outfit do you like better on Jessica? Which one fits her body shape better?

The first thing that comes into my mind when looking at the above picture is that Britney Spears must have a very, very large collection of very, very ugly boots. How else are the boots? Terribly unflattering would be the answer. Especially if they are paired up with tight shorts and some “not exactly stockings catalog material” legs.

We’ve seen that Britney has been working out and while I can definitely see some muscle definition, this choice of clothes surely isn’t doing Britney’s thicker figure any favors. How do you like it? Can Britney pull of short shorts or not?

Versus’s expert advice: Tip no. 1: Please wear pants. Long pants, that is. Tip no. 2: Or a middle-length skirt - show off your knees but not your thighs, yet. Tip no. 3: Throw the boots in the ocean.

Besides the fact that Kylie is looking mighty happy in the above picture, she looks mighty great. The thing that I find surprising is that, even though Kylie is only 5′0”, she looks significantly taller here, thanks to smart dressing, and, of course, platform shoes.

Kylie has definitely been through a lot the previous years, but dare I say that she looks better now than she ever did, as she is spotting some extra (positive!) softness and femininity than in her skinnier days. How do you all like Kylie’s body shape?
