Skinny VS Curvy

Britney Can Look Hot… if she wears the right clothes, that is. Plus, the hair looks considerably less of a mess here, and we have all waited to see this happening for a long time now.

You tell me if I am wrong: take a look here to see a picture of Britney from last week. “Thanks” to the ugly boots number 17 and outfit combo, she looks at least 10 lbs heavier. So, Britney: black works for you, short dress & heels work for you. Keep it up!

How do you like Britney’s look on this occasion? Do you see the improvement or not?

Jennifer Lopez sure sad “good bye” for good to the baby pounds and embraced her former fit & hot figure. The angular jawline and the (what appears to be a) pretty flat stomach definitely say so. OK, ok, on the other side, she is wearing black and there is a very smart wrinkling over the stomach area that might have the role to keep all the possible underneath “wrinkling” under controll. On top, this is the only picture from the set where JLo is not placing the huge bag in front of her (non-existant!?) belly.

The good?

The color of the shoes. Nude shoes extend the leg visually and contribute to a slimming effect. No “eww, look at the calves” comments for Jennifer.

The bad?

Looks like the dress doesn’t want to stay in the right place and Jeniffer’s curvaceous hips are definitely not helping the cause.

Versus’s expert advice: Buy fluid dresses, throw the stiff fabrics, keep the shoes, choose more bra support, no deep cut wrap dress unless you unstress.

Yes, yes, I know, these are definitely some Gossip Girl celebrities-loaded days. And while we were saying just some days ago that Leighton Meester doesn’t seem like she spends most of her life in the gym and appears to be eating like, you know, 3 meals per day… we are inclined to change our minds here. Take a look at the above picture of Leighton on set - doesn’t she appear to be skinnier? Or should we be convinced that the slimming effect is thanks to the green heels? And last time we checked, pale skin, large red and green prints, paired with over sized yellow bags don’t actually make you look 10 pounds lighter. Regardless, Leighton Meester looks fit and fab, and, like in the true Gossip Girl style, an ultimate vanguard fashionista.
