Skinny VS Curvy

It’s pretty hard to tell it’s the same girl, especially since she her face’s lost its roundness. Nadine’s been getting a lot of press these days – and the main point of focus are her very thin legs. A while back, she had this to share about her long limbs:

‘I’d look at them sometimes and want to throw up. They’re like tooth picks. ‘I don’t have the same hang-ups about them now. But I still don’t think they’re great.’

Attempting to put an end to the ED-related rumors, Nadine’s manager had this to say:

‘She’s probably in the best shape she’s ever been in spiritually, mentally, physically. She’s never been better.’

Nadine Coyle from British pop band Girls Aloud always had skinny legs (she carries more weight on her middle and top areas) – but oh my, they are definitely at their skinniest right now (of course, the opaque black tights contribute to this effect).

Not that we can accurately compare (since we can’t really see her legs well), but here is Nadine in a bikini a year ago:

On using underweight models on the runway:

Most of these girls are naturally thin,’ said Posh. ‘And I don’t think we should be discriminating against someone because they are too thin or too curvy or too large or whatever it is.’

‘The CFDA have reached out to designers, stylists and casting directors not to work with underage models, girls that are too thin and to be more ethnically aware… And I think designers are listening.

“People will say, ‘Oh, fashion magazines are so bad, they’re giving girls a negative message’–but we’re also the fattest country in the world, so it’s not like we’re all looking at fashion magazines and not eating. Maybe it just starts a shame cycle: I’m never going to look like that model, so… Chicken McNuggets it is! And conversely, I don’t look at models who are crazy skinny and think I want to look like that, because a lot of them are gigantic, with giant hands and giant feet.”

Victoria Beckham was spotted while going to LAX Airport in Los Angeles the other day. And she’s wearing an all-black outfit that shows off her forever-skinny legs.
