Skinny VS Curvy

Heidi Montag is everywhere today (and not for the right reasons). Here is a before & after comparison, plus a list of the plastic surgeries Heidi opted for. Note that the before picture is actually an After picture as well (she had the first round of breast implants and nose job beforehand). Neck liposuction?? Botox at 23? Plus everything else you can think (and not think) of. Oh dear.

Why did she do all this? Here is her explanation:

I was made fun of when I was younger, and so I had insecurities, especially after I moved to L.A. People said I had a “Jay Leno chin”; they’d circle it on blogs and say nasty things. It bothered me. And when I watched myself on The Hills, my ears would be sticking out like Dumbo! I just wanted to feel more confident and look in the mirror and be like, “Whoa! That’s me!” I was an ugly duckling before.

Oh dear – I want to say not-so-diplomatic words, but let’s put it delicately: this is not pretty.

These shots that followed the “crotch-in your-face” aesthetics are for New York Times Magazine… and someone, somewhere and somehow thought they were a good, sexy (?!?) idea.

Like black leggings are not hard-to-pull-off enough, here’s Katherine Heigl in grey leggings, the kind that look so much like stockings. Katherine is not Hollywood-skinny (check out her bikini pictures!), but she’s got a nice, healthy-looking figure. So do you think she’s wearing a flattering outfit for her shape?
