They may not be wearing this year’s diamond bra, but Victoria’s Secret models Joan Smalls and Lily Donaldson are definitely stepping up their game when it comes to getting ready for the big catwalk show later this month. While some models are simply adding an extra hour or two to their daily workout routines, others opt for more creative ways to get into perfect, camera-ready shape: the two lingerie models turned pole dancing models shared a video of social media of their current workout obsession – sexy dancing!

Gigi Hadid has transformed herself in the past years from a bubbly and more athletic-looking model that mostly did sexy photo-shoots to a high-fashion, much skinnier model. And this week, the blonde beauty opened up about her runway walk and how it definitely needs work.
On her career as a runway model:
Before I started modeling, I was more into photographers. I studied a lot how models made pictures in the sense that you have to be a positive part of a picture and make it better. And that’s what is really important for me on set. There’s some people that are bad at looking at monitors and some people that are good looking at monitors. And monitors really help me because I’m able to look at a picture and see where I fit into it, see what I can add to the picture instead of just being a person that’s on the page.
“But the runway thing, it’s funny because obviously I’m not the best on the runway. But what do you do? When you’re the face of a brand you show up to the show. My first show people were already expecting a lot more from me than I [was capable of at the time]. I never was taught how to walk on the runway. And maybe that’s because it moved really quickly for me, that people just assumed that that was something I knew. So, you know, a year and a half later, I’m still learning. I got some compliments on my Tom Ford show, so I’m getting better. I’m working on it, but I’m human. I still get insecure on the runway, but it’s really exciting for me because I want to get better. I love being on the runway.

29 year-old actress Shay Mitchell showed off her fit legs and flawless skin in the current issue of Self Magazine, where the Pretty Little Liars beauty embraced the cover in a strappy bandage-like leotard. In the magazine, Shay talked about how she prefers to have an active lifestyle and on how she won’t feel pressured to forgo her pizzas and ice-creams.
On her ‘all in moderation’ diet and preparing for the Self Magazine shoot:
This cover isn’t just a cover — it was an honest eye opener about lifestyle vs. diet. Prepping for this cover made me feel strong and healthy, and that if I really set my goals to do something and followed through, I would see results — and I definitely did. I will always be the girl that can get in some exercise and not feel guilty about eating a slice(s) of pizza or a scoop(s) of ice cream. It’s all in moderation!
On having a healthy, active lifestyle and lots of interests:
I have so many different interests and love trying new things, which is how the YouTube channel came about. Next I’m doing a series on my workout lifestyle. I like to switch it up so I don’t get bored. Sometimes I’ll just go to the UCLA track and run up and down the bleachers.

“I’d like to see more beauty campaigns for girls who are mixed Latina and black. And if I’m in them, that’s great, but overall there’s a scarcity there. Companies need to be more mindful of the world we live in and who their consumer is.”
On wishing she were curvier while growing up in Puerto Rico:
“Everyone does, especially when you’re younger and guys don’t like you because you’re flat-chested and have skinny legs. I would double up my socks so my calves looked bigger. But around junior high school, my attitude changed. I was like, It is what it is.”
