Here is Keira Knightley (doing her trademark open lips) in a photo-shoot for Vanity Fair and really, if that is not a 18 inch waist and an unbelievably small torso, I don’t know what it is. In fact, Keira manages to look like a – how shall I say it… a bended lollipop, as a result of the sitting position and of course, thanks to the tiny frame & low weight. Thank God for the big, big shoe right there that balances the proportions a bit.
How do you like it?
Blake Lively is no Posh (skinniness-wise) and Hilary Duff is no Beyonce (curviness-wise) but hey, one is skinnier than the other and, you guessed, one is curvier than the other – at least in the above picture – even though I’ll admit that Blake’s got something (guess what?) from the curvy side. What do these girls have in common, besides blonde locks? Well, for starters, they are the same age (20) and, you guessed again, they were in the same place last night, on the same red carpet. And on top of that, in order to help us compare them efficiently and optimally, they both decided to opt for strapless dresses.
So, there you have it: it’s skinny versus curvy battle time! Which one do you prefer? The skinnier Blake or the curvier Hilary?
Versus’s expert verdict: I’ll take Blake’s legs, Hilary’s hips, Blake’s arms, Hilary’s cleavage and Blake’s waist. To go, please!
Wait, wait, I am looking for the baby bump. Scanning, processing… nope, no sign of it. While Ashlee Simpson is still enjoying the “Is she pregnant? Is she not?” promotion that sells albums and concert tickets, she still looks mighty slim. This is probably the slimmest look you can get without your bones protruding out. Now her body doesn’t particularly spell “hourglass” or “small waist” and the high waisted skirt sure does a great job at amplifying this fact. But well, the overall result is pretty delightful, so let’s let her be.

You might all recall that just a few (4, to be exact) days Jennifer aka “the one with the huge size 2 debate” looked pretty curvy or, better said, pretty and curvy in a dress that showed her best assets, as in boobs, waist and hips. Refresh my memory!
Not the case now. What this sparkly, shiny and glossy dress does is, besides shining and sparkling, it looks like a sack on what we know to be a “very hourglass body”. Now if you want a shiny, flashy sack, this is the way to go.
How do you all find Jennifer’s choice of clothes?
Versus’s expert advice: What are Jen’s best assets again? Boobs – ofh, can’t see them. Waist – what, where? Curvy hips – assuming they exist under all the fish scales.
Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe are, without much questioning, pretty “consistent” girls. And the fact that they are spotting some silver-ish or gold-ish mini dresses that basically shine, sparkle and reflect light at the same time, accentuates their curvy, fleshy, meaty and oily figures – but while Kim can still brag that she’s got a waist that probably is 60% the size of her hips, sadly, we can’t say the same thing about Khloe, fact which probably convinced Kim that she was the right sister to pair up with, as in “come with me to the event, to make me look thinner”. Nicely done!
