why may i ask have they chosen Lindsey Lohan to channel Marylin Monroe when Marilyn was portraying a positive body image where being natural and curvy was acceptable and sexy, and Lindsey Lohan does no such thing. all she is doing is making young girls insecure about their natural and healthy figures. she should be locked away out of the public eye and be given help until she is healthy again. i feel genuinely sorry for her that she is ill, but the way she parades it around like its a publicity stunt makes me so angry.
she’s ill, and yet she seems to be rewarded for her weight loss! Look at how many magazine covers she’s done since she lost all the weight. It’s like Nicole Richie all over again. Part of it is her fault, but the media is also at fault for promoting this standard of “beauty”.
She really does seem to be a fan of Marilyn (these photoshoots dressed as her, the tattoo) – it’s a shame she doesn’t embrace her natural curves the way Marilyn did.

Lindsay has a very distinctive body, no need to see her face to know it’s her. Anyway i think she looks more like Madonna than Marilyn here, in pic 2 she’s not wearing Marilyn type of clothes at all… Marilyn she wants, Mar it shall be, but i’m not seeing it AT ALL!! Blonde curles don’t make u Monroe, baby girl. i like her body though, maby it’s wrong to say so, idk, i like Marilynish figures 2, women come in different shapes, and lindsay was never a marilyn even when a bigger size

Good for you if you’re skinny and proud of it. You love your figure and that’s something everybody should do…… unfortunately it’s not that easy!
I’m extremely skinny as well and the difference with you is that I screwed my metabolism because of anorexia and I’m definitely not proud of it.
I recovered many years ago and although I do not hate skinny celebs, I think it’s horrible to flaunt unnatural skinnyness…..
Agreed, it seems as though many people don’t understand the health consequences of eating disorders. If someone is naturally thin, great, as long as they’re healthy. But if you’re trying to fit into the skinny aesthetic by widdling yourself down to a 0/2, there’s a problem. Most women are not biologically hardwired to be this thin.
And BTW, I like your honesty. I’ve had so many friends with eating disorders and so many of them have ended up with health problems such as bone loss, adrenal malfunction and heart problems. Not good…

I hate seeing Lindsay as Marilyn, she has no resemblance to her whatsoever. Marilyn’s body was WAY different and much more attractive. I guessed that was her when I saw the picture, it looked like her skinny body and I remembered her earlier Marilyn pics when I saw the blond wig.
It’s easy for arguments to start about really skinny people, but I think in Lindsay’s case, we know she isn’t NATURALLY like this, and I think it’s fair to assume in HER case it isn’t so healthy. No, I’m not jealous. When skinny celebs look good, I think they look good. I don’t criticise them out of jealousy.
OK what the hell. Trying to be Marilyn Monroe? Give me a break. Lindsay, if you are trying to look like Monroe, i recommend A LOT more trips to Maccas, honey. And skip the sticking-my-finger-down-my-throat-to-be-skinny trips to the bathroom. Marilyn was not a walking bulimic skeleton.
