Christina Hendricks at the Emmy Awards – Now & Then
September 21, 2009 in Christina Hendricks, Then and Now by Versus

Above: Mad Men beauty Christina Hendricks on the red carpet at the Emmy’s today, wearing a L’wren Scott dress, Fred Leighton jewels and Prada clutch and shoes.
Below: In green, Christina at 2008 Emmy Awards and in red, Christina at SAG Awards in January 2009.

Yup, she lost a bit of weight (especially since the red dress occasion) and it’s not just the dress, since her face, arms and hips all look smaller now. Still fabulously curvy though!
Check out a close-up plus one more after the jump!

god she’s beautiful!!! She’s probably trying to tone up for her wedding
omg she is soo gorgous:D
My all time favorite female performer. Looks good in all 3, but the most recent one she has on a better dress. Really brings out the color of her eyes. Stunning
she looks hot! in all three….
but does anyone think that she was stuffing her hips/butt region in the red dress? i dont know, it seems unnatural.
she’s the reason the term “hourglass figure” was made! I think she’s beautiful. I really love the blue dress, the red is gorgeous as well. I don’t love the green I think she looks like a very busty statue of liberty! lol but shes’ amazing no matter what!
she looks very much an hourglass in dresses, but there was some photos of her in jeans and she looked more like a ruler w/ big breasts. And even in that blue dress she doesn’t seem to have such a defined waist. Not trying to bash on her though, i too think she’s absolutely fabulous. And like many curvier actresses has a bigger impact on-screen than in pics (like ScarJo and Duff imho)
Ok, trust me, she is in no way a ruler she has very wide hips. Her boobs are very large so she is an hourglass which is full to bursting! I loved the green dress – she looked like a Goddess/ statue in it.

Lol, she’s no ruler, a fake red head (self confessed) but no ruler!
The gowns are fitted so her waist looks smaller in them. When she’s wearing regular clothes her curves are less visible because her clothes kind of hide them.
yay! someone said ‘fake redhead!’ i love it when ppl acknowledge other hair colours as awesome! i hate it when ppl say ‘oh she’s not a REAL blonde’ like…blonde is better etc. When ever i go back to my natural hair (dark blonde) ppl always say ‘oh…so are you a real blonde or bottle blonde?’…ugh! but if my hair is black/brunette/red they dont say ‘oh are you a real brunette? real redhead?’ they do acknowledge that its prolly not my natural colour i.e. ‘whats your natural haircolour?’ but never ‘fake redhead’ or ‘fake brunette’…its frustrating when ppl insinuate that blonde is better…you know…’oh you’re not naturally blonde’ etc! well how about ‘your not naturally a redhead!’ or ‘not naturally a brunette!’ etc etc! surely by this century we have moved forward from having one ‘ideal!’ …actually…i think we have moved backwards! wow long rant! thanks for your comment tho! made my day =oD
Lol, glad to put a smile on your face!
ok, i admit defeat
but she does look a lot different in jeans than in those dresses that emphasize curves.
i love her in that green dress. she’s looks gorgeous. with extra or less weight, she still looks amazing.
I think she looks great with the weight off, healthier for sure. She’s cute.
beautiful woman, bad hairstyle and a awful dress…
What’s so bad about her hairstyle?
I find it refreshing, since it’s not a straighted to high heaven clone. It looks natural and romantic (as in, the artistic period).
i usually like her hairstyles, but not the one at the Emmy-s…
She looks better with a bit weight off. Her hair color is incredible. Thank you nature. Reds are so hot!
I very like her old-fashioned romantic & elegant style on the red carpet. Her natural make-up with big eyes looks gorgeous and so (envy, envy, envy) effortless.
But to be not too kind, maybe the dress could be shorter and with some cut at the side to see her legs.
i cant see much of a difference in her weight lol, and i feel so dumb cos everyone else can!
I hope this doesnt sound rude as this is just my opinion but although she has a lovely hourglass shape, she is still quite overweight… and i dont find her body attractive… she is however very very pretty in the face.
She looks overweight because there are plenty of streamlined dolls in hollywood, that want to look like 12 year old girls.

no i think she is actually overweight, this doesn’t mean that i think tori spelling or victoria beckham have an ideal body type either
I don’t think she is technically overweight in terms of bmi, although she might be right on the cusp. Of course, I don’t know this for sure. However, she is pretty tall and she looks healthy to me.
Regardless, I have a total girl crush on this woman. Her figure is amazing and I think she does look better with a few pounds off. Her face has always been one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. I think she is definitely prettier than Megan Fox for example.
Final verdict: Gorgeous
Yes, how dare they be born without a curvy figure. Let’s completely asexualize them by calling them 12 year old girls so that only non-slim women are considered attractive and we can feel better about ourselves.
Seriously though, not all Hollywood “dolls” want to look that slim, some of them just try to stay healthy and as a result wind up thin. I think healthy and thin is better than normal weight and unhealthy.
I’ve never heard of this Christia Hendricks, but she looks great. She’s like the perfect redhead stereotype…buxumous, beautiful, fair skin. Guys must go crazy over her. And she looks much better slimmed down a bit, it enhances her shape.
I don’t agree that she is overweight; she does not have flabby arms and she does have a little waist. her health is proably not suffering because of her size.
I don’t find her body attractive either, though. I think she appears too soft, but still very pretty in the face.
actually after looking again i can see a tiny bit of weight loss in the hips to compare to the photo in the red dress
Wowwww those hips are incredible
her dress is GORGEOUS !! I mean really, really beautiful
and her eyes too
I think the camera and her pale skin perhaps make her seem curvier than she probably is in real life. I also think figures like hers are built for dresses as opposed to the modern day skinny jeans/baggy top fashions.
We are so used to seeing 5ft tanned boyish figures! I wish there were more women with curvier figures like hers on TV and not just in the comedy fat person roles!
i just love her at any size. Her body shape is amazing to me.
Anyone want to venture a guess at her measurements?
5′8″
36-32-36
That’s what I found online but I don’t totally believe that. I have a 38 bust but WAAAAY smaller breasts. It makes no sense.
Ya, those measurements are way off. The only one that seems believable is the waist measurement, but I would put her waist at no more than that, and possibly smaller since it looks like she lost weight. Her breasts are large, I’d say a DD(and I guess she’s a size 10-12 bottoms), my guess is:
42(36DD)-30-42
my guess for her now is a 36DD-27-39…..I remember I saw Jessica Simpson when she was supposedly “fat” and she literally looked like a tiny buff girl with huge boobs…….so I would not judge someone exactly by their photo.
36DD isn’t that big.
Seriously!
I’m a 34F and I’m far smaller on the bust than Ms Hendricks! I’d guess she’s closer to a 32GG/34H, around 27″ on the waist and about 42-44″ on the hips in the earlier photos. Probably down a cup size and an inch or two on the hips in the latest ones. The red and green dresses are likely heavily corsetted underneath which is partially why the waist looks so small and the hips so large.
Either way, she looks stunning and it’s nice to see a curvy hourglass out there on our screens.
You guys must have problems judging boobs. She is a D to DD, she is not an F or a G. Those are bigger than what she’s got. I’ve had F’s. I’m a 34DD and that’s about as big as mine are. You have to remember she probably uses pushup-pads and such.
Ann,
I take it that you didn’t see the part of my comment where I said that I AM a 34F (and a great lover of silicon bra fillers). I’m also an experienced lingerie fitter and you wouldn’t believe the number of women who think they’re one size when they’re considerably larger (hardly ever smaller).
I tend to have a rather low opinion of most bra fitters in high street underwear chain stores. I went into a number of US lingerie stores on my last visit and not a single one of them fitted me even vaguely correctly, ditto for Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. I believe they suggested that I was a 38B in one US store, even when the bra they brought me in that size was riding up to the back of my neck and giving me not four but six breasts. The only fitters I really trust are, in order, the older lady who fits me in Jenner’s of Edinburgh (she first corrected my fitting from a 38B to a 36DD and has checked me regularly for the last nine years through two minor changes), the ladies in Rigby and Peller of London, the girls in Bravissimo and the girls in Boudiche.
A 36DD is equivalent in size to a 32F, as you go up a cup size when you go down a band size, and she looks likely to be quite small in the back. Her breasts also reach a long way under her arm in addition to the level of cleavage she has. I may not be right in my guess on her precise bra size, but a 36DD really, really IS NOT BIG (unless you’re very short and/or very, very slender)!
Her underbust is not that much bigger than her waist, although it is slightly bigger, and her bust is at least equal to her hips (for which the general consensus is that they are at least 40″); therefore it’s not improbable that my guess of her size isn’t that far off. Modern bras are also not fitted quite in the way that size charts suggest that they should be and it’s not uncommon, particularly in larger cup sizes, to be smaller in the back and larger in the cup than your measurements would initially suggest.
My one big mistake was that I meant 32GG/34G rather than 34H.
Daft argument, I know, but it’s an old soap-box of mine. I wish people would learn how to really fit a bra rather than blindly trusting measurements or, even worse, salesgirls.
lol i thought I was an A…apparently I’m aa! score
