Celebs in Midi Dresses at BAFTA Awards: Emily, Freida, Amy & Claire
The 18th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards just took place at The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California and we’ve got a bunch of pretty celebs and their dresses on the red carpet to admire.
First, a red hot Emily Blunt, then a smiley Freida Pinto, a sleek in black Amy Adams and a blonde beauty Claire Danes.

Love Amy Adams and all the girls looks pretty. I’m not exactly WOWed but not every dress is suppose to be a WOW dress.
Emily Blunt looks amazing, love her outfit, so classy!
Not loving Frieda’s dress at all. This is one of those so called “art” dresses that looks disgusting in real life. The girl is pretty but I doubt anyone could really pull that dress off. Plus it does nothing for her skin tone, which would look fab with jewel tones.
she always seems to wear dresses that are just too fussy, imo. she’s such a beautiful young woman and all that frou-frou around the face just musses her up.
Frieda has terrible style and Claire looks like a grannie as usual. Emily and Amy look OK.
Emily Blunt: looks pretty and I love love love her dress – it has a retro 40s flair, the fabrics are lovely.
Freida Pinto: looks like she’s playing dress-up – the dress is wearing her. Nice hair/makeup though.
Amy Adams: looks boring and forgetable.
Claire Danes: looks like she isn’t quite ready to go – she’s missing a darker lip or eye, or jewelry, or a better hair do, or something… I like the dress, but it needs a little something-something.
Is it just me or does it look like Claire Danes has gained about 15 lbs? She still looks good, but she is definitely not as thin as she used to be.
I don’t think she’s gained weight. The print of the dress sort of obscures her torso, which is the smallest part of her body. She’s always been slim and ruler-shaped, with bigger arms, and this dress just shows off her bigger parts while hiding her hips and waist.
Freida Pinto all the way for me – her dress isn’t the best but looks ok on her and her hair make up and shoes are beautiful, i think shes the most natural beauty out of these girls
Really love Freida’s dress, but I’d wear Claire’s shoes instead.
