Christina Aguilera’s Make-up – Wow or Eww?

Here’s Christina Aguilera at TAO night club, sporting a vivid, vibrant and typical make-up that combines red and pink. How do you all like it?
Her figure looks great, slim & curvy, but I’m still not convinced about her hair & make-up.

I’m not a big fan of the pink and red combined. Separately they look fine, and from a distance it looks fine, but up-close not so much.
Exactly, Either or Or for me. Red lippy with a smokey eye or pink eyes with a neural or even pink gloss. I just HATE the fringe!
Ugh, her face looks awful, too much going on. She’s in her 20s and already looks like a washed up middle aged woman.
& her fringe is just irritating to look at.
Harsh.
no i actually totally agree with you!, not too harsh!
I just found it harsh, particularly because she doesn’t look middle aged whatsoever but she is a bit washed up I spose…guess you can’t be at the top forever.
The only issue I see is a pretty girl with way too much makeup and bad hair.
she definitely looks middle aged, she looks like a tranny clown….awful
Yeah, but technically her features are not ‘aged’, which is why I don’t get the comment. I associate looking middle aged with having jowls, baggy eyes, wrinkles, cheek hollows, etc.
The whole bleach blonde, fake tan, overdone make up must be what people associate with looking older. I think people equate looking done with looking old.
well sure, her hair is bleached (uh no kidding) she has her eyebrows done by a personal professional groomer, she’s “ALWAYS” WAY over done in make up, and has people to tell her what to wear. It screams I can’t do it myself you do it, because I “Have” to get noticed. Sorry but there isn’t a damn thing about her that’s real.
Her make-up is always over the top !!
I have a feeling there’s something wrong with her face so she needs to pack on so much.
She criticised Lady Gaga but she is the one who really looks like a tranny…
I don’t get this obsession with almost theatrical looking makeup. She’s perfectly attractive underneath all that slap.
its as if shes trying to look ugly
LOL true true….
She looks like a sad clown or some washed up playboy bunny can’t quite decide…
I think she is gonna need a paint scrapper and a power hose to get all that makeup off her face.
Who cares! Look at that body!
Looks like someone got into mommy’s make-up box!
She looks SO terrible these days!!! Having a child did not help her at all! She looked so much better in her PRIME!
This red lipstick thing needs to stop.
Seriously, a sheer gloss would have taken this look from ew to wow. I’m pissed that she had to ruin it because she’s obsessed with clown lips.
red lips can look great, actually – not clownlike at all. Though admittedly her look is a LITTLE over the top…
I always thought Christina was a beautiful women but when she started pilling on the clown makeup she started to look horrible, also all that makeup is so bad for ur skin
oh god. she seriously looks like a transvestite these days. her make-up artist should be fired. BLEH!
It’s way too much.
I actually thought it looked ok close up but then you zoomed out and, just, no.
Red eyeshadow looks diseased.
i love makeup but it should be done so you look fresh and pretty not spackled and oily. with the right makeup she would have looked banging.
I really hate those eyebrows!!
actually I hate makeup and Christina took it to a new level !
Wayyy too much make up. Red and pink – what a bad combination
To be honest, she looks like a clown.
Tryin to steal Katy Perry’s look. I don’t like her and her make up. Especially her bangs.
I hate her bangs. Red lips work if you have low-key eye makeup and pale skin… not pink eyeshadow and orange skin. oh well.
eww..
personally i like it, and it doesn’t detract from her plain black dress–if she was wearing a brighter outfit, then it would look tacky. i like her necklace too.
whats changed? looks like the same C.A. to me…
um…wow. But not in a good way
I’ve never cared for her look. She always looks harsh. IMO, she makes herself look attractive with her clothes and makeup.
Does anybody realy recall the day she actually did have good make-up?
ooh i wish she would learn to use less make-up. it was one thing to be a skinny teen with lots of “attitude”, but now she’s tryina be more classy, be it with edge, but still. she’s not easy on the eyes. she would look beautiful w/ nuthin’ but mascara and defined eyebrows… (oh and so that’s an eww from me, sure no-one got that)
Typical Aguilera….. no comment
You’re seriously pathetic. I’ve skimmed over all the Christina articles and the only thing you can come up with is her makeup (and how she wore the same outfit twice in a matter or months)? Seriously? She’s a celebrity. They’re paid to look amazing. Wouldn’t you want to look great getting your picture taken everywhere you go? What’s wrong with wearing a full face of makeup anyway? What a sad life you live. Go talk negative trash about Lil Kim’s implants or Jocelyn Wildenstein’s face. You’re waisting your time bashing people’s makeup. Can you really come up with nothing better to say?
1. Are you actually talking to me? If “vivid, vibrant and typical make-up that combines red and pink. Her figure looks great, slim & curvy, but I’m still not convinced about her hair & make-up.” is bashing, then I am, indeed, one big, Pathetic Queen.
2. “They’re paid to look amazing” – that’s just it, Christina looks way more amazing without her red & pink make-up. Am I allowed to say that or is that “bashing” again?
Here’s a definition that you might find interesting:
To bash = To engage in harsh, accusatory, threatening criticism.
Christina must feel truly threatened by my “not sure about the make-up” opinion.
3. I do NOT, I repeat, I do NOT trash talk on this site – not once. I admire many celebrities, I like some and yes, I do occasionally criticize them, but always delicately or constructively. Furthermore, this is MY site and, surprise, surprise, it includes MY views and opinions – and one of MY views is “PRO natural beauty”, which, in some cases, contradicts with what I am seeing on certain celebrities’ faces.
4. “You’re waisting your time bashing people’s makeup” – wrong again. You see, this post has 41 comments – these are people that had something to say about this topic and again, surprise!, many of them agreed with me. But that’s not it – my site has a subtle ideology and part of it is saying to young girls that they don’t need
(WARNING: I am not describing Christina here) plastic / Photoshop / surgeries / extreme outfits / extreme make-up / standard “flawless” figures to be liked and loved. I am truly sorry you failed to get that.
