Actress Michelle Rodriguez stepped out for a post-Academy Awards dinner in Los Angeles the other day, wearing a very see-through long dress that looked like an extended piece of lingerie.

Lol it’s weird, it reminds me of something like special glasses that let you see under people’s clothes (… I was a kid in the 90′s..)..
I don’t like it at all, it looks like a joke, if the dress was super short, it would be something I would wear at night, like a transparent minidress with matching underwear (like what she’s wearing)..
But I’ve always liked Michelle, I like her figure, I think she looks pretty and natural, and she seems cool
I love lace, and Michelle certainly has the body to pull this off. There aren’t many occasions to which a person could wear this, but if the party she attended was one, i’m down with it. I don’t really know what sort of an event the dinner is, i mean the dress IS very dearing. I’d like it better if the skirt part was completely see-through, without the imo ugly hem, or then for a more covering look, a solid fabric. All in all i gotta say i’d like a bit more covering short lace dress (not the hotpants-thing) without any veils more, but admittedly it would ruin the designers idea. But i do love the color, the lace and the cut of the upper part.

I agree – it’s way too much! I just think women are being show-offs when they wear dresses like this! And she looks a little embarrassed about it too!

It would look better if she did’t look so uncomfortable.
I might like it if the lace shorts were lace pants so we couldn’t see her skin. That makes it look tacky.

I totally dig the american apparel-esque chiffon-skirt-over-hot-pants look, but for a formal dress this just looks strange. bad strange.
Wow, this is just wrong. You can even see the panties under the lace shorts. Her body is great but, the cut of the shorts isn’t flattering to her muscular thighs. It also doesn’t give her much of a waist. Most importantly though it’s tacky as all get out. Kind of looks like she was in bed and went “Oh crap I forgot that party, oh well I’ll just take this sheer curtain and put it on, READY!” WTF. .

Usually I loathe any very sheer clothing, but for some reason I like this! Would never in a million years chose to wear it myself but somehow she is pulling it off. I give it a thumbs up
I’ve seen so much of this on the runway that it really doesn’t shock me at all. I think she looks fine in it, but not stunning. If she was a bit taller and hippier, with less muscular legs, it would probably work better. Don’t get me wrong she has a great bod, but I don’t think this style of dress works with it.
I love Michelle and she has a a great body, but I’m unsure of this dress. It’s a little too see-though for me, and the bottom of the skirt is ugly and doesn’t really go with the dress. I think it’d look better with a silver lace hem or nothing at all to make it more cohesive with the rest of the dress.

Ugh I’ve always found her very unattractive. I’d even go as far as saying I think she’s quite ugly and I very rarely use that word. Her outfit choices are ew more often than wow.
in the first picture i thought it looked as if she could almost pull it off, but the next set show it’s way too see through and the top half just looks cheap.

She really does not have the body to pull this off. The cut, waist, the whole thing really doesn’t work with her body type. She also looks very uncomfortable as other posters have said.
