I get why she does this whole crazy outfit thing. It distracts us from the fact that her music is unoriginal and boring. Her biggest hit was probably one of the most annoying songs ever made..Umbrella..

i’m all for taking fashion risks but i would bet all the money i have that in 10 yrs we’re all going to look back on these photos of her and laugh…kinda how we all laugh at pics from the 80’s now.
I can see what you are saying but for some reason I actually like this! I think she pulls it off I think it is artistic and looks pretty on her. The blue part on top should be a little smaller and if it was it would look great. It is obviously meant to be more of artistic fashion and most people would not wear it but I still like it. It is not so extremely weird and crazy as something lady gaga would wear but it is somewhat weird but still she pulls it off!

I guess she missunderstood that these dresses were meant to be more art than actual clothing ^^ Well maybe she’ll learn one day … in the very far future that wearing just everything strutting down the runway isn’t the best idea.
She frustrates me, lol. I’m always waiting to see brillant ways to wear quirky outfits, and love seeing ppl pull off something totally unexpected, but in most occasions Rihanna’s outfits just speak ugly or ill-fitting to me. I feel like i should respect her personal style, but apparently i don’t get the “thing” about her ensembles most times.
Those dresses the were looking awesome on the runway and did an amazing job of catching the critics eyes. But clothes like that just don’t really work in real life. Just like that outfit Madonna once wore. They only look cool in an artificial surrounding.
But well ,brave of her to try it – and fail ….. again.
lol love that last part of your comment. I agree with you, this sort of dress would definitely look better on the runway, or in a magazine, not in real life. I love her makeup though, it’s probably my favorite of all the different makeup styles she has done. Her hair is awful though ughh.
Love it she pulls it off and of course I go blank and can’t really remember what fashion show I saw that in.However if the pink and blue piece hadn’t been so big she would’ve owned it.
It was the Viktor & Rolf show S/S 2010 in Paris. Amazing show , I loved the idea and concept especially of the long dresses. Absolutley memorable but nearly impossible in real life.

I think she put this dress on her with ironic intention. Because she was criticized about the dresses (see-trought) was wearing before.

It is sad that Rihanna is known more for her wild fashion than her musical talent. I like how Lady Gaga has a rhyme and reason for her fashion. With Rihanna, she just seems to wear what will garner her the most attention.

Why does she always look miserable?
I’m not a fan of hers, but for some reason I think this dress works on her. She still has a lovely face and her skin is glowing. Compared to most of the wacky outfits she wears, I don’t mind this one so much.
