Amy Schumer: “I exercise, I eat well, I just don’t starve myself”

On her body confidence:

I exercise, I eat well, I just don’t starve myself. I have never been apologetic for what could be considered a flaw on my body. But every year I get more and more comfortable in my own skin – even if there’s more of it now. Not that I don’t get my period every month and not feel like hot garbage, but nothing can really mess with my baseline at this point in terms of my confidence.

On whether men like her figure:

I think men are so happy to have a naked woman in front of them that they’re not going to say ‘Oh, you have bit of cellulite’ and call an Uber.

… says Amy.

  1. Whew Amy, as long as men are okay with women’s cellulite then it’s all good. Thanks for the words of wisdom and helping women to understand what’s most important: being f*****able to men despite flaws.
Thanks and keep the empowering messages coming👌

  2. I’m pretty sure this is an unpopular opinion here but I find her very unnatractive: her body, her face, and most importantly her personality. I agree with some of her opinions but I don’t like her brand of humor at all. Nothing against being crass if you’re also funny which to me she isn’t. Her need to tell the world how easily she can get a guy doesn’t make her look that confident (same thing if she were a man, it’s just kind of sad). But I don’t wish bad things on her or anyone so if she really is confident, good for her then.

  3. Well if a man already decides to get with someone with her looks, they aren’t going to be the picky type. Other men with different standards would notice and care. However I agree 100% with Stellar’s comment. How pathetic, just caring about landing some dude in bed, that’s easier than tieing a shoelace. At least she feels comfortable with herself but her face is unfortunate so I don’t think a change in her body will turn her into a dime piece. Almost like why not indulge, I just can’t imagine her face not looking puffy.

    • However I’d feel bad if she read these comments. The scrutiny is not nice. She’s not like an alien she just looks like a typical mother of three who gave up a little bit, not a Hollywood star.

  4. She used to be cute several years ago. She was always a “relatable” looking girl but for instance in Trainwreck and in early Inside Amy Schumer episodes, she wasn’t overweight and she looked pretty nice and put together. Combined with her humor she came off as very attractive and confident to me. She kinda just looks dumpy now and she gained a lot of weight. But I have to give her kudos for keeping her head up amidst all the hate people have given her. She can be great at comedy but I think her show was the pinnacle of that.
