On being against plastic surgery:

I don’t do Botox. Because don’t you just think in the next 15 years, there’s gonna be a discovery that injecting botulism could have an effect? You don’t know what it is. And you don’t know what it’s gonna do to you, or where it’s gonna migrate. I don’t have any surgery. I don’t think you should be filling your face. I don’t do any of it.’

On being criticized for her looks:

The first job I had, for Star Trek, the cinematographer said, “You might want to do something about your eyes, because they’re a little bulgy. They’re a little baggy underneath.” And then over the years, I started looking at children. Children’s eyes are always sort of baggy here! …They have the bags under here. They’re sort of poochy under here.So I just started thinking,’ she added. ‘I’m gonna look at what youth looks like. And most of what youth looks like is happy! People are happy, and they have energy and they can move.’

… says 62 year-old Kirstie.

  1. I really like her and I think she looks fine but that red-brown eyeshadow she’s using under her eyes, is not a good color for her.

    • I don’t like red-based colors for the eyes on anyone! Tyra does it in a pinkish tone that is really just unattractive.

Agreed on Kirstie– she looks great, and I think she’s got such a good attitude.

      • The only time I’ve ever accepted red shadow in the film Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. That was the only time that had ever been okay for me. It is just so unflattering.

  2. Oh Kristi… I used to adore you. So funny with great hair.
While i agree with natural aging, i can’t help but be apprehensive about her over the COS.

  3. i always liked her- especially with john travolta- but her face is not “botox-free”. i don’t think so. it’s all about moderation. her face looks good and pretty.

  4. She’s definitely done something to her lips. You can easily tell from the 2nd to the 6th picture! I do agree, she looks great… But if you have had procedures done and don’t want to admit it, just keep quiet! Don’t say you would never do it when obviously you have!

  5. it doesnt matter because she’s pretty either way! you could say the same about makeup though… once you start reading up on the ingredients, god some of it just makes your skin crawl. Luckily there are alternatives for cosmetics though.. better to stay away from surgery in my book.

  6. I see Kirstie calls Botox “surgery,” too. No sedation. No scalpel. No suturing. No operation going on whatsoever. But it’s surgery, ya’ll!
