Heidi Montag Reflects on Her Plastic Surgery: “I certainly wouldn’t do it again”

Back in 2010, reality TV star Heidi Montag had a complete body and face transformation as she opted for no less than 10 plastic surgery procedures. This week, Heidi opened up about what she describes as ‘the hardest time of her life’:

“It was the hardest time of my life and I feel like I’ve become a lot stronger from it. And [it] made me look at myself and reflect, ‘Why did I do that?’ Maybe I needed to have more confidence and be more secure in who I was and not thinking so much about my eyebrows or my this or that… I think that I just became so consumed by this character that I was playing that I became that girl and lost track of this small-town Colorado girl. I just love the simple life. I like nature, I like different things and I kind of became consumed in a different world.”

“Regret’s a hard word because I’m trying not to regret things in my life because that can be a dark path to go down. But I certainly wouldn’t do it again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it and I have learned a lot from it and I just want to move forward in a positive way.”

… says Heidi.

Heidi Montag: ‘I would love to not be ‘plastic girl’’

heidi - Heidi Montag: 'I would love to not be ‘plastic girl’'

Heidi Montag has something quite interesting to say about her plastic surgeries, the way they make her feel and the marks they left on her body:

“This past year has been the hardest year and craziest year of my life. It’s been a year since my surgery and that’s really when my life and whole world kind of turned upside down.”

“When I look in the mirror today, I don’t really know who I see. It is me and it’s not me. It’s a very weird situation. Sometimes I’ll run across an old photo and it’s actually shocking sometimes because I’ve been three different people. I’ve had three different faces.”

“Sometimes I wake up at night and I have chest pain, and… if I exercise a lot then I get sharp pains in my breasts sometimes. A lot of my scars won’t ever go away.”

“Parts of my body definitely look worse than they did presurgery. This is not what I signed up for.”

“The big dark mark from my chin reduction is probably the most noticeable. But the absolute worst is on my breasts, and the scariest is below my butt cheek,” Heidi tells Life & Style. “People have fewer scars from car accidents than I have on my body.”

“I would love to not be ‘plastic girl’ or whatever they call me. Surgery ruined my career and my personal life and just brought a lot of negativity into my world. I wish I could jump into a time machine and take it all back. Instead, I’m always going to feel like Edward Scissorhands.”

Heidi Montag Brings the Quote of the Day

In case you haven’t heard (via Daily Mail)…

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have revealed they are considering filing for bankruptcy after blowing their $10million fortune.

In this context, Heidi is regretting spending too much money on her numerous plastic surgeries:

I spent thousands on the procedures and after-care. ‘I had private nurses coming twice a day for two months for treatments and bandage chances. Each time they came it cost $2000.

‘I wish I didn’t waste so much money on it.’

Heidi Montag Wants to Remove Her G-Cup Implants

lifestyle1 - Heidi Montag Wants to Remove Her G-Cup Implants

Did you guys see this coming? After all, a while back Heidi was saying that she wanted to opt for an UPgrade, meaning even bigger implants. Let’s see the details from Life & Style:

Just one week after the untimely death of her plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, Heidi Montag sat down exclusively with Life & Style to tell-all about her plastic surgery regrets, revealing that she wants her outrageous G implants removed.

“I’m desperate to go back to normal,” she confides to Life & Style. “I’m downgrading and going a little smaller, to a D or a double D.”

More than nine months after she went under the knife on Nov. 20, Heidi says she is still in severe pain and her body has not gotten used to the over the top boob job. “I have major anxiety about it. I was taking painkillers but they weren’t working so I stopped. It hurt either way,”

Besides being unable to hug her four dogs or wear anything but custom-made clothing, “I’m obsessed with fitness but it’s impossible to work out with these boobs,” she says. “It’s heartbreaking. I can’t live an everyday life.”

And while Heidi tells Life & Style she is currently shopping for a surgeon in South America, she worries that she’ll be trapped in this cartoonish body forever after the untimely passing of her confidant Dr. Ryan. “I feel trapped in my own body,” Heidi tells Life & Style.

“There’s just no fixing it,” she says. “Dr. Ryan knows the work he did, he knows everything.”
