Katy Perry showed off her slim vase-shaped bikini body in a strapless two-piece as she enjoyed some time in the sun in Sardinia yesterday with her completely naked boyfriend Orlando Bloom.
On having a glam squad versus doing her own makeup:
Unfair answer: I always have back-up glam. Real answer: I can do my own make-up. It just tends to end up looking a little more natural rather than defined lines. Eventually, the make-up has to come off, so maybe it’s a blessing in disguise.
On getting older:
In your twenties, you spend too much time worrying about what people think of you, and financially, can be sort of a mess. Your thirties are about independence, loving yourself as you are, financial freedom, consciousness, and good company. I heard your forties are even better. I haven’t spotted a gray yet — I’ve been dying my hair jet black since I was 15. And as for wrinkles — they’re just proof that you’ve smiled.
On her beauty goals:
My goals are: to be more SPF-conscious, experiment with facial peels and lasers, take control of the size of my pores, and continuing to try to choose healthy eating habits. Pain is inevitable; suffering is my choice.
On her best beauty secret:
Lash extensions: I get lash extensions every two weeks from Lisa Mayer, usually at 7:00 am for 2.5 hours. I come down in my robe, lay on the couch and open-mouth sleep while she does them.
On her red carpet anxieties:
Does this outfit fit? Can you see my Spanx through this? Breathe. Which side is my wonk-eye on? Every morning I wake up usually thankful I haven’t turned into a meme while I was sleeping.

On her make-up routine:
I’m Katy Perry onstage. At home I’m Katheryn Hudson. I’ve created this cartoon look when performing, but offstage I don’t always have three hours to put it together. That’s when I’m just about lashes, shaping my brows, and more natural skin. I use CoverGirl mascara, and I like lash extensions too—they make you feel like Bambi. Then a nice bronzer and a good powder. I just learned how to shade a little bit so you slim your face down and take care of your undercarriage underneath your chin.
On her hair:
I’m naturally the most boring dishwater squirrel brown. So I’ve been playing with colors since I was 15. I loved the grunge green, and shocking blue was fun. Colored hair is such a huge accessory that you don’t even need to add extra stuff.

The latest celeb to change her haircolor (even if just with a hairpiece) is Katy Perry, who opted for red hot locks a la Jessica Rabbit as she attended the 2015 Harper’s Bazaar Icons Event at The Plaza Hotel in New York City this week.
