On her low-maintenance beauty routine and not opting for Botox:
Oh my God. I barely have time to bathe. I use great creams and try to shave my legs when I remember.
On maintaining a slim figure at age 59:
I love to exercise and work out, which I think is the key to good health. And of course I eat healthily. I dance, do yoga, pilates, swim, play with my kids, ride horses, go to the beach, whatever it is going on – I like to move. I don’t do classes or anything, just whatever it is in front of me.
From the Fabulous Over 50 Club: 58 year-old Sharon Stone, who looked great in a two piece swimsuit this week. The blonde actress was spotted by the photographers as she had some fun playing volleyball on the beach in Miami while wearing a red bathing suit and a messy side braid.
Remember this (very old) post? Back in 2008, then 62 year-old Helen Mirren broke the internet (more than Kim Kardashian) when she also wore a red bikini to the beach and looked fantastic while doing so.

On her bikini figure and her message to the one that criticize it:
‘I haven’t worked out in a couple of months because I just didn’t feel like it. But now I’m going on vacation and I know what they’re going to do–[magazines] are going to put a circle around my a** and do one of those crazy magnified pictures saying, “What happened to her a**? It’s a bag of cheese. I would just like to say it’s a fine triple crème Brie! Right when they zoom in I should have a tattoo on my a** that says, “You wish you could get a bite of this.”’
There was a point in my 40s where I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, locked the door, and said, “I’m not coming out until I can totally accept the way I look right now. And I examined my face in the magnifying mirror, and I looked at my body, and I cried and cried and cried. Then I said to myself, “You’re going to get old now. How do you want to do that? And I thought, “I’d like to age like a dancer.” I want to keep my body in shape like that. I want to do the work. I like to dance and stretch. And I like going to the gym.’
