Heidi Klum: ‘I’m not running to get Botox’

FP_5939085_Klum_Heidi_ROQ_102310 - Heidi Klum: 'I'm not running to get Botox'

A few days ago, supermodel Heidi Klum was telling us that ‘skinny isn’t always better’ – and today, the same Heidi talks about aging:

“I don’t think of getting older as looking better or worse; it’s just different. You change, and that’s OK. Life is about change. I don’t have anxiety about it, so I’m not running to get Botox. Maybe that will change, but I don’t think so. I feel comfortable in my skin and comfortable with ageing, so I think it’s OK that I get wrinkles.”

… says Heidi in Self Magazine.

I agree with her too. Ageing is not a bad thing and it is weird when people get botox and look all paralysed – I couldn’t do that to myself! I think she will naturally age beautifully anyway – and natural beauty is always better, imo!

I was in the states recently and was alarmed by the number of women who’d had Botox/ facelifts. It looks really obvious and unattractive. I think the most beautiful thing about a person is their confidence, and the ability to love themselves. All the people I’ve come across who went under the knife or other cosmetic procedure where insecure unhappy people have surgery to that extreme.

I have nothing against women who get Botox. I think for some women it is beneficial, both in appearance, but more importantly, in self-esteem. I don’t want to be the kind of person that places judgment and criticizes those who just want to feel better about themselves. After all, that’s what we tell people to do…feel good about themselves and have high self-esteem. Not everyone can do that with what they were born with and that’s fine. I do also think a lot of women use it when they really don’t need to…women who have good genes who want to… Read more »

Wow, I’m liking her more and more. I love this… we are roughly the same age and it’s been a bit tough for me. We are such a ‘youth culture’ here in the states and you really do feel like you may as well shrivel up and die when you hit 40. I decided to embrace this chapter in life and forget about trying to look younger. The women who inject their faces with all this stuff (mainly filler)… look so distorted and creepy. I get why they do it… I really do. It’s just nice to hear a beautiful… Read more »

Exactly what I was thinking….. She is confortable with her wrinkles but she was not with her small b❆❆bs and natural nose? Hum….. did she change ger mind about having work done because she became wiser over time or is she just telling BS to get some attention???

She never had a nose job if you look at photos of her when she was like 15 it’s exactly the same, kinda weird looking.

I don’t think she had a nose job, and she definitely never had a b❆❆b job. I’ve seen the bikini pics that prove it.
