Audrina and Lo Share Their Thoughts on Heidi’s Plastic Surgeries

Audrina-and-Lo-Share-Their-Thoughts-on-Heidis-Plastic-Surgeries - Audrina and Lo Share Their Thoughts on Heidi's Plastic Surgeries

Heidi Montag’s co-stars Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth shared their thoughts about Heidi’s excessive plastic surgeries. Let’s hear them out!

Audrina’s view:

“I haven’t seen how she looks, so it’s hard for me to comment on it, but these are her decisions, and as long as Heidi is happy, that’s all that matters,” says Patridge, who has denied reports she’s also undergone cosmetic surgery.

“I think it’s a case of, ‘To each their own,’ ” she told PEOPLE on Thursday while at Kari Feinstein’s Style Lounge at Zune in West Hollywood, “but 10 procedures in one day is a little much.”

Lo’s view:

“I hope that girls don’t read the article, look at the decisions that Heidi made, and think that’s normal,” Bosworth tells PEOPLE. “She was quoted as saying that [practically] every celebrity in Hollywood has these procedures done, every day . . . And that’s just not true. I would never want young girls to read that and think it’s the standard that they need to be measured by.”

I am not against it. If some wrinkles come across my face, sure, I’ll get a little Botox, it’s not a big deal,” she says. “I think you should do what you want to do to take care of yourself. I just hope that the girls who look up to us and watch us don’t look at what Heidi did as the only way to be successful and beautiful.”

im sorry but i just feel like all these new ways of gettin rid of wrinkles, changing ur nose, gettin bigger b❆❆bs nd gettin rid of fat by goin under the knife r not the way to go…. ok i guess if someone has a reaaallliii big nose nd its makin them insecure than sure go for it.. but heidi was perfectly fine nd wat she did with her body nd her face is just shocking nd unnatural…how does she recognize herself anymore? its also sending a bad message to young girls, which is a srs issue, as Lo said.… Read more »

I totally agree! She even got bone shaven off her back for a “more curvy” look! I didn’t even know you could do that….

And she’s making money off this. Us reading about it, seeing the pictures, its all the process that the mags and untilmaetly heidi want.
After this, Im ignoring this story and hoping it (AND HEIDI) disappear for good.

Heidi needs to understand that if she has kids they will look like her (and Spencer if they stay together) and what will she do then? pass off her own insecurities to her kids?
But honestly, she probably wouldn’t want to have kids because they would eff with her “perfection”

I heart Lo. She’s always so sensible.

I hope she gets her own talk show lol
(that’s supposedly her dream)

Everyone is entitled to live their life in the way that they see fit, but unfortunately, there are always good and/or bad consequences for your actions, one of the bad being what Lo said–girls will think this is OK. After seeing Heidi UP CLOSE in her first post-surgery ABC interview, and seeing a before and after pic of her, I can honestly say without any embellishments that she looks like she has aged a good ten years. She honestly looks like an attractive, sexy thirty-three year old who has fought the battle of wrinkles and won, instead of a gorgeous… Read more »

What’s sad is how everyone is blaming her as if she did this awful thing simply by choice. Yeah, no one held a gun to her head, but not everyone is born strong enough to turn the other cheek to criticism day after day. Some celebrities are, and are thus able to ignore it. Heidi is one of the ones that don’t. It’s nice to see both examples, because both examples happen. I think everyone needs to sit down and think what it’s like to be a celebrity…look at the mean comments that are placed on this blog alone. How… Read more »

You don’t have to be a celebrity to face criticism every day. I work as a lawyer and its brutal (at my firm anyway).

But seriously, is the public that dumb? Do teens actually look up to Heidi etc? Growing up, I don’t remember ever being influenced by something a celebrity did. I’m still pretty young, but I just can’t imagine looking up to any celeb in that way.

“…Patridge, who has denied reports she’s also undergone cosmetic surgery” – funny 😀
Lo is the smartest from these girls.

I’d just like to take a teeny poll on this site….for those of you under 18, how many of you feel it’s okay to get plastic surgery now that you’ve seen Heidi do it? Somehow, I highly doubt many teen girls suddenly think it’s okay to get 10 procedures in a day unless they thought so beforehand and now are looking for a confirmation. Young girls are impressionable, but they are sensible too. Also, it’s Heidi…she kind of has a reputation for not being the brightest, both among adults and the younger generation. I highly doubt she specifically could influence… Read more »

im 18, and i think what heidi did is sad. not because of how she looks or any of that but because of the reasons she did it, and she obviously didnt need it. & after seeing her that made me wana stay even farther away from plastic surgery but then again, iam pretty self confident in my face and facial features its my body that i have insecurities with, surprisingly not wanting to be thin but the opposite! Thats the whole reason I go on this site to feel a lil more self confident bout bein skinny but every… Read more »

I don’t think it’s so much an issue of doing whatever it is that celebrities do. To me it’s more a matter of people like Heidi, who are in the limelight all the time, who have the opportunity to influence the standards of impressionable girls, whether intentional or not. Many girls recognize how excessive and harmful–mentally if not physically–such procedures can be, but not all. The real danger is that creating the illusion that this type of thing is completely normal and risk free–which, of course, it is not. I don’t judge her for Heidi decisions, but Lauren has a… Read more »

now there are photos and a video interview, no more photoshopped people cover magazine.

she is 100% a completely different person, and her b❆❆bs are TOO big.

very, very sad.

I totally agree…I’ve seen some pics of the new heidi and she looks like a wax figure…plus, I believe that now she looks older than she really is….it’s sad because I don’t think she improved her look with all those surgeries

She look better, but she now looks like she’s over 30 and also looks a wee bit waxy ( okay, very waxy)

Oh yes, she is.
I’d say Heidi was more beautiful before she did that.

While i think Heidi did not need all this plastic surgery I think casey makes a very interesting point. Celebrities are constantly being judged, she’s too fat too thin, her b❆❆bs are too big too small ect. Peoples comments can often be quite cruel magazine covers like duffs puffed up (hilary Duff). People are always commenting on pics of celebs without make-up saying things like ugh keep the make up on and saying how celebs are meant to still look perfect without make up.. like what the hell they’re human too..i dunno like while i agree she didn’t need it… Read more »

I do love how the issue of other people getting plastic surgery brings out ‘The Poignant Philosopher’ in many young female starlets… Yes, Heidi Montag had a ton of obvious plastic surgery. But she’s not solving world hunger or writing a doctoral dissertation on molecular biology. She’s a reality TV star! I’m not even sure she knows where her ‘scripted’ self ends and her ‘real-life’ self begins. At this point, one becomes nothing but a caricature. If she spent all that plastic surgery money on a therapist to try and work out her many many issues — it would have… Read more »

i think heidi is a terrible role model. my friend is constantly researching plastic surgery success stories because shes so depressed about her nose she thinks shes going to be happy when she gets it done, but her nose is completely normal but she thinks its abnormal and that im lying when i say its fine. she said she never wants to get a boyfirned until she gets her nose job.
so heidi is a bad bad role model.

But even if Heidi never existed, your friend would still be depressed and want to fix her nose.

Exactly!

How can you hold Heidi fully responsible for your friend? In turn Heidi might turn around and blame another women that has had extensive surgery and then she another and so on.
Then celebs may also blame the media for highlighting their faults or the public for going on about them (look how popular this website is!)

Whose to blame? Everyone’s pointing fingers.

i understand that it’s not right to judge someone because of what they do and should make their choices but once you become a celebrity, like it or not you will get judged or talked about. if heidi puts herself out there like some dumb insecure blond then what would the public think? it’s bad enough that society wants women to be some size 0 or have some eating disorder but now get plastic surgery to have more of a womanly figure and to be accepted? women these days can’t seem to get a break when it comes to beauty… Read more »
