On being accused that she photoshops her pictures to look thinner:

And ps: I am 5’10 and a size 6. I have NEVER photoshopped pictures. That’s not what I’m about. If you’re going to be rude about people’s bodies, go elsewhere.

  1. I believe her. She’s quite a bit thinner than she was a few years ago and I seem to remember her saying that she was a 10 then, so why lie? She doesn’t look bigger than me and I’m currently a 6, but I’m only 5’6 and I think the taller you are the thinner you have to be to wear smaller sizes right? Anyway, I’d say she’s at most a size 8. And it doesn’t even matter, girl is looking good!

    • I’m also 5’6 and a size 6 and even though Mandy is taller, I think I look similar to her body-wise. I also think that I’m just a vanity size 6 and would really be an 8 or even a 10 in some designer clothes (I think my waist is 29 inches but I haven’t measured in a long time). Anyway, who cares about sizes?! I am fit and I love my body tbh. I also think Mandi looks beautiful and she should just ignore any weird criticism.

      • do you mean AU/UK size 6? I think she would most likely mean US size 6, which would equal roughly a 10 UK/AU so perhaps that’s where the discrepancy in you comparing you to her lies : )

  2. I hate being that person but if a US size 6 is a Scandinavian 36 as the conversion chart tells me.. I just don’t see it?

    • A US 6 is 35″-27″-38″ which looks a little slim for her but I think she lost weight so this is plausible. A UK 6 is very small, equivalent to a US 2, are you thinking of UK instead?

    • It isn’t though. A US 6 is a EU 38-40, depending on the brand. I wear EU 34 (32 where available) and order clothes from US. I wear 00 in US.

      • It has to depend on the brand though… The clothes I wear (er… cheaper brands) have the conversion and most of them say EU 36 – US 6. I’m curious to know what size I would be if I actually did buy clothes in the US.

        • H&M goes with that conversion chart, but it’s the only one I know about. And even H&M differs across countries, I swear, I’ve travelled a lot and often popped into the store for buying something basic, and it’s not consistent. But like I have Michael Kors dresses that are all 00 or EU 32 (IT 36, IT sizes I find the most reliable), Guess clothing sized 2 is way too large on me (marked as EU S or 36), etc.

  3. I should add that I have no knowledge of her pictures but the ones posted here don’t look photoshopped to me and she looks good! Just not like a 36.

    • You know how sizes vary from brand to brand… I’d also say she might be 38 and not 36, but that’s based off the few brands I buy (can afford), and she probably wears other.

  4. I believe her. I’m 5’11. At my skinniest I was 141 and a size 8. Never could fit into anything smaller. wish I could be that skinny again ?

  5. maybe it’s vanity sizing then? because I’m a 6 and much much smaller. I’m medium build and I am also tall. I looked like her when I wore a size 10.

  6. A US size 6 is a UK size 10, an Aus size 10 and a European size 38. She doesn’t look like she is lying even a little bit. Very lovely.

  7. Ever notice that so many celebs either say they are a size 2 (to avoid being labeled too thin, as a size 0 would imply) or a size 6 (to avoid being labeled too big)?

She looks good and all, but that’s vanity sizing at work. It defeats the point to wear a madeup number like badge of honor.

  8. After seeing her pictures I said to myself – Well, she looks big and soft. But than I realized – she looks totally normal and healthy. It’s just I we are used to see actresses with thin almost transparent arms sticking out of evening gowns.

  9. This is annoying that she would out right lie – the pink dress photo is obviously photoshopped (note the how the line on the wall or door is squiggled on the right due to use of the liquify tool to make thinner). Also scrolling through the rest, I noticed more photoshop error.
If you photoshop but dont want to admit it, dont say anything girlfriend.. at least you arent straight lying that way! Ha. She is pretty and looks fine normal.
