Guessed immediately she has always had a flat butt and no curve in her back

Can you build muscles in your bum if you naturally have a flat bum? She has a great body but really flat butt, just wondering if she doesn’t target that area and that’s why it’s so flat or maybe she could do all the butt muscle building in the world and her butt would still be flat?

no you can not build muscles .have the same problem.if genetically you has small muscles, that’s it.i do work out 4 years and only made my but rounder ,but still flat.it’s like if you have flat chest, doesn’t matter how much you do chest press, nothing will grow.=(
by the way i never had any negative comments about my small fist butt =)
STAY POSITIVE!

Breasts and butt different, breasts mostly fat with muscle underneath, butt is major muscle for needed for walking, moving, squatting. You see when people focus on a type of sport overdevelopment in certain muscles. Its matter of time and training, but also goal: butt can’t be kardashian cartoon from working out, only surgery, implant. Also, if working on targeting a muscle, other support muscles nearby also get bigger and stronger

Yes you can build muscle. She just doesnt do the right exercises. I started out looking like that but over a year of working out my butt i have a normal butt now. And no the answer is not squats. That’s a misconception. Do weighted donkey kicks, leg lifts and glute bridges.

Agree. I naturally have a booty because I store fat there, but even to firm up, lift and round it out, squats aren’t the best. Donkey kicks and weighted glute bridges, ftw. I also suggest putting a resistance band (connected to a hook) around your waist or a belt connected to a weight machine and then crawling on hands and feet as far out as you can. I don’t know the name for it. And use a rubber band to do “penguins”. Stand in the middle of a resistance band with the ends in each hand so the band crosses… Read more »

My personal experience is the same as the other poster. I haven’t been focusing on my glutes for that long but after a year I see very little improvement. And I mean veryyy little. I’m currently in the best shape of my life and I would say I build muscle rather easily. I have a nice toned back and my abs are a bit visible (I don’t like the super toned look so they’re not amazing so I’m happy this way). But the butt is just as flat as ever, only with less celullite and maybe a bit rounder. When… Read more »

you can build muscle there with heavy weights, proper glute activation and eating at a caloric surplus.

as you can any other muscle in your body. it takes a lot of discipline and hard work, and no it will never look the same as someone with a genetically rounder shape, but saying its not possible just comes from ignorance and/or laziness. It is always possible to grow any muscle if you really want to (again, “grow” does not mean magically explode overnight and your muscles will never look like someone else’s, just a bigger/fuller version of your own)

also doing many reps with little/no weight is not how its done folks. muscles adapt and grow in response to increasing stimulus which means you must use progressive overload in your training by increasing load over time.

I have been lifting heavy weights for a year now. Although I have always had a “bubble butt,” I have been able to drastically increase the size in just a year with hip thrusts, squats, and lunge variations (plus lots of food and protein). It’s definitely possible!!!

I’d say you can change your shape to an extent but someone like Ale will likely never achieve a JLo bootay without surgical intervention. Blaming everything on genetics would be the easy way out but workouts will only take you so far realistically.

Her knees gave it out to me XD

If you notice her bum is ’rounder’ near her legs, which means she does work out the muscles otherwise it would be flat even there, but the problem is the lack of curve from the back to the top part of the glutei, and there there’s nothing you can do really..it’s the shape of your body, no way to change that other than plastic surgery ( I feel her, have the same problem, I build muscle quite easily, have strong and defined legs, have been suuuuper skinny and almost overweight, been targeting the glutei for years, for other years have… Read more »

Everyone can build their butt muscles, but depending on your build, it may or may not “pop out” like you see on the typical Instagram booty shot. The key to having a bubble butt is having the long lower back curve. If you’re spine runs straight down, no amount of squats are going to give you that “bubble butt” . Bubble butts are very much genetic mixed with exercise.
But everyone can tone and build what butt muscle they have. That will always be an improvement.

maybe she’s naturally flat, but models in general avoid growing their bums so their hip stats won’t increase and won’t overpass the mark of 90cm tops (which is considered already big).

I don’t get the obsession with huge butts. Who cares everyone’s body is different and she is lean and toned. The likeliness thatvshe would just happen to be toned and slim with a big butt is slim to none. Even Emily ratajowsku and many models have flat butts but in pics stick out the butt and arch their back so it looks bigger I have noticed

THIS! As someone who got made fun of because of my “big for a white girl” (not my words!) butt in HS just a few years ago, the entire trend is so baffling to me. People need to chill and focus on being healthy instead of chasing what isn’t realistic for them.

I find nice curves including great butts more attractive than being “lean and toned.” People like what they like.

That is great u like that and everyone likes diffeeent things. I wasn’t saying big butts are bad at all just stating that this model is “ lean and toned “

She needs to pick a better cut buttom and also arch her back a little would help. That cut doesn’t flatter her butt but instead makes it look flat. She likes to wear that style a lot though.

arching your back is horrendous for your posture though and can lead to major problems…
