Kelly Brook: “I would love to not have boobs”

Q-LAED1SmBM - Kelly Brook: "I would love to not have boobs"

On how gaining weight on her boobs caused her back problems:

It’s about a kilogram each. I’ve gone up quite a lot. I was always booby, but I have gone up quite a lot. I think I’ve gone up to a 34FF. I’ve been having lots of back problems recently and I went to the doctor and he said, “I think you might need to lose weight…I was like, really? He was like, “Yeah you know you’ve put on quite a lot of weight, up here (motions to breasts).” Because that’s where I put it on, on my boobs. So my bras were not supporting me, it’s completely thrown my back out. I think it’s the equivalent of three basketballs or something…. It’s really sore, sciatica. It is excruciating. Hopefully I’ll fix it.

On losing weight:

So now I’m literally training to try and lose weight off my… so I’m running, but I can’t find sports bras so I’m actually just running holding my breasts to try and keep them in place. But it is helping, he says if I strengthen my core it’s going to support me better. 5pm at night I’m just laid up and I’m in so much pain… People think that, “Oh I want a boob job, I want boobs…” Because I was born with them I don’t know anything different – I would love to not have boobs and just be able to wear lovely little tops and do more sport and not have back problems and not have to worry about them sagging or whatever they’re going to do at some point.’

Running with such breasts does sound painful. What about swimming or rowing? I appreciate her honesty, though I wonder what the question was that she became so candid – or was it on her social media? I can’t imagine a conversation where a total stranger asks about that. Her smile is lovely.

I have a large chest (32FF) and it often gets in the way. When I gain weight my boobs will often go up a size- but when I lose weight they can take a lot longer to ‘shrink’. My whole life I’ve had comments (from the age of 13!) from random people about my boobs. Often it’s complimentary, but it can be annoying feeling sexualised all the time. I don’t always want the extra attention and covering them up doesn’t ‘hide’ them. I run, cycle , do HIIT and pilates regularly- my sports bras are crazy expensive boob strapping armour… Read more »

I understand the hassle, big b*bs are uncomfortable when working out, they make you look bigger than you are and you can’t wear outfits that other people wear without risking being called “distasteful”. I wouldn’t mind if mine were a cup or 2 smaller, but I can definitively see a difference since I lost weight. Not only are they probably a cup smaller, they are also firmer which I wasn’t expecting and was a great thing. Hers will also get smaller once she loses some weight, she said so herself. I try not to complain about mine because my mom… Read more »

The half a$$ed censoring of some terms is ridiculous

She looks so much prettier when she was smaller. I’m glad she is finally taking the steps to become healthy again, but she likely stretched all her skin out. Hopefully she can bounce back again.

She was 18 years younger in that picture. We all age! Even if she loses the weight, she will not look like that.

Sounds like she’s trying to put the blame on her boobs, when really much of her problem is weight gain.

There’s a whole post about breasts and has photos that are a little risqué but the word boobs is being censored 0_o

Even someone with small boobs, a full-ish B cup, when I gain weight I’m definitely uncomfortable in my boob area. It’s just too much boob! And frankly, difficult to wear clothes comfortably. So imagine her with those huge breasts! I feel for her.

She would love not to have big breasts?
her breasts MADE her career – a fairly long one at that all things considered…

I have a small B-cup (in some brands even A-cup) and would love for my boobs to be bigger. But I admit that I wouldn’t want or feel comfortable at a size larger than like C-D, so I do understand what she is saying. I also work mostly with men (Finance) and I already feel like I have to a lot just to be taken seriously, so I’m kind of glad that I don’t have big breasts.

” I already feel like I have to a lot just to be taken seriously, so I’m kind of glad that I don’t have big breasts.”
It is so sad that this is reality… >_<
I used to be much larger in the chest and am grateful to be smaller/average now for exactly this reason – I work with mostly men and it helps a lot. so wrong that it is the case!!!

I envy all small-breasted women. Wish I was an A cup. I’m an FF-G cup and cannot do anything to get them to decrease, besides surgery, which isn’t an option right now. They kill your neck, shoulders and back, even more so when wearing a bra, but going braless isn’t an option. Regular bras are bad enough, but try finding a sports bra that fits. If you cover them up, you look “matronly”, and if you dare to wear more revealing clothes you get s~~~ shamed, or hit on (and the guys are so blatant about it they spend more… Read more »
