On losing weight during the filming of her last movie:

It was not intentional. I was trying to learn how to do all of the stunts. They weren’t expecting Psylocke to do a lot of fighting in the movie, but when I had signed on, I said that’s something that I really wanted. I started training every day with Taekwondo and sword and the stunt and wire work, and I just ended up losing 12 pounds from working out every day.

… says 35 year-old Olivia.

  1. I think she’s beautiful… And I’m all for curves and fuller figures but she looks really hot in the “after” picture. Could just be different lighting and slight angle difference but she looks great.

  2. Wow, I guess I get why people say “35 is the new 25,” not that age really matters, but it is interesting when it comes to Hollywood and who’s getting big roles. She looks great in both photos, but I’d definitely want to be my slimmer/fitter self in that outfit.

I saw her on Colbert and she seemed cool. I wasn’t wowed by her intelligence like my guy friends told me I would be, but she’s pretty and cool and well spoken.

    • While the average person is still at a higher weight than years ago, there are a larger number of women who are maintaining their healthy body weight into their 30’s these days. While most people on this site says weight loss ages you, it actually keeps you young and youthful looking. That’s why 30 year olds today can pull off teenage roles in shows and movies.

      • *Excess weight loss ages. Imo it becomes more important to maintain muscle mass the older you get. Though I don’t really agree with the need of looking like you’re in your 20’s when you’re really in your 30’s. Imo more mature womanly image is more appealing than forever teen image.

      • That’s good advice.

Like I’ve said before on this site, I was worried that I’m getting wrinkles, my face doesn’t look as young in that sense, but I’m much slimmer these days, so when I compare current photos with photos of younger days, I honestly think I look better now! That makes me feel better about the whole ageing process. My face looks more defined, my clothes look better, I might not have perfect smooth skin, but I look more confortable and beautiful as a whole now, IMO.

          • I do worry, as I’m sure a lot of visitors of this site do. And yes, I look great, that’s what I’m saying!

          • I was referring more to your obsession with your skin. I care what I look like to a certain extent, but I don’t *worry* about it, I am only 24 and have a few wrinkles but would never in a million years consider having something done…it just doesn’t matter that much, I still look good. obvs I don’t know you, I’m just saying it’s probably not worth the energy you spend worrying about it, which could be going toward something else. just my impression from your comments.

          • Pfft…

I don’t see a point talking to you, I keep saying I’m feeling good about myself, that I’m more confortable now, that I look better, and you keep focusing on how much I worry about my skin. Like you said, you don’t know me, so it seems to me that you just want to feel better about yourself for not being “way too concerned about your appearance”.

Kind of a hypocritical to tell somebody “oh, don’t worry about appearances, I don’t, you’re spending way too much time on that, you could be doing something more productive”… when you’re on THIS site, LOL. Bye.

        • No … Same, ditto! I feel like Ive grown into my body and my face, its lovelier even if my eyes have texture, and my body is finally a shape instead of an interesting ensemble. Youre not crazy:) Enjoy it!

      • I don’t think people here say weight loss ages…low body fat and excessive cardio ages. Sinewy people look older.

    • I believe it… She lost a chunk of weight too so that would automatically make you’re face look different.. Maybe i’m being naive

      • It’s not like she was obese and lost a ton of weight. Her face shape has completely changed. She looks like Megan Fox now

      • It could be true. My face shape and whole face changes a lot if I gain or loose 16 pounds. Maby one size in clothing but my face really looks “different”. In shape at least, but i think she looks better before.

    • she looks like a completely different person..i was shocked when i saw some pictures a few months ago…she used to be so pretty, i was a big fan, what a shame :S

  3. I don’t think there’s really much of a difference. Just a different angle, posture and lighting. I wasn’t a fan of her looks, but i think she looks great in these pictures. Maybe it’s because she has longer hair now. I think longer hair looks better on her

  4. i think she~s underrated and beautiful. wayyyy better person to fill the accesible hot girl role that jennifer lawarence is doing.
i really dont like jennifer, seems so fake

  5. I think she’s so beautiful and attractive, but I watched a couple of interviews from her and she seemed a bit dumb to be honest, maybe she’s just awkward.

    • Yeah I thought she was really quite funny in that show “Perfect Couples” which got axed early on, but now I follow her on instagram and her posts and interview quotes seem kinda hollow? I guess my assumption that good comedy is executed by smart people has been undone…

  6. Haha I wish I could be like “Oops I accidentally lost 12 pounds!” But I don’t doubt she worked hard to do it.

  7. Her arms definitely look less soft and slimmer, her face is a whole lot leaner, stomach looks flatter. Personally, looks a lot better now to me. Esp her face.

  8. I actually prefer the before picture. She looks like Demi Moore in the second. She looks great either way, I love her features.

  9. Eye lift, skin lasered, and veneers. She’s f-ing gorgeous either way, but I wish celebs wouldn’t lie and give the rest of us false hope.

  10. The 2 pictures look like a) eating carbs and b) cutting carbs. At least that’s what happens happens to me, and about a 10 lb difference, without change in exercise habits.

  11. What really changed her look are the cheek fillers! Her cheeks are a lot rounder and overall bigger than before her weight loss. They make her look younger and more feminine.

  12. On top of being beautiful, Olivia is super funny. She has a twisted dark sense of humor. Watch her old Letterman appearances, she’s pretty dark and its half sad/half hilarious.

  13. I think she’s absolutely funny and can be a hilarious actress… Buuuut is she just discovering the benefits of working out?

    • No, that weight loss is a cover to make us believe that it’s why her face changed so suddenly and not plastic surgery but she didn’t look that much like Megan Fox before. Gotta say though, she still looks pretty good.
